PART 1 ST JAMES ONLINE AUCTION

The ST. JAMES ONLINE AUCTION will be presented in two parts because of the large quantity of interesting personal property. Located in Greer, with the first part ending November 24th, ST. JAMES presents our buyers with a rare opportunity to acquire items of truly unique and exceptional value; property well-chosen and collected with discriminatingly good taste from around the world.

This family had deep Southern roots in Natchez, Mississippi. They traveled extensively throughout the US and the world and lived 20 years in Korea as Baptist missionaries. Needless to say, they were devout Christians, and well-loved within their community. Obviously, viewers will see many Asian artifacts: Chinese, Japanese, as well as Korean decor and ephemera.

The owner's wide ranging interest encompassed recorded music, singing, art, jewelry, clocks, vintage American glass, coin collecting, and world history with a strong emphasis on their Southern heritage. They were deep readers, enjoying literature, politics, and history. Book lovers will have plenty to choose from.

This sale offers other highlights such as a 60 piece set of .999 Silver medallions by Longines Symphonette, sterling silver pitcher and goblets, thousands of 1920-1940’s post cards, 1930-1950’s collectible match books, stamps, original art work in many different mediums including oil – watercolor – drawings on rice paper and an authentic Indian rubbing,  hurricane lamps, a vintage stereograph photo viewer, Asian screens that are silk and hand painted, Queen Anne and Duncan Phyfe style sofas and chairs, cast iron, Bohemian glass, jewelry including - genuine stone - damascene – and costume, and other nice clean household and useful items!

Viewers will have fun sorting through the listings and the photographs. We will be providing you with nearly 6000 photos. We will load PART 2 as soon as PART 1 is set up.
