Kawai RX-6 Semi-Concert Grand Piano. Expertly kept in almost brand-new condition; this classic spade-leg design has a lustrous glossy Ebony black polish finish case. It has a fine, pure quality tone, but could use some adjustment. The keys are in great alignment with no yellowing, nicks and hairline cracks. The inside is in pristine condition (just a little dusty), all the makers marks and decals are still visible along with the Serial No. 2326053. The case is in excellent condition, with some minor surface scratches; but no sun-fade or watermarks. Included is a lovely bench with an adjustable leather- like button tufted seat. This instrument is befitting enough for any concert hall or professional studio and would be a notable piece for anyone ever wanting to own a Grand Piano! Measures 63” wide x 84”long x 40” tall; weighs 794 lbs. Stool measures 25.5" wide x 13.5" deep x 18" tall. This dome top trunk features vertical wooden slats with decorative and protective metal embellishments on edges and corners. It securely locks with 2 latches and one central lock; all hardware appears intact including the outside leather handles. Completely covered with tin metal; some has a nice embossed pattern. The inside is lined in brown paper and has all its complex compartment trays with decorative embellishments including chromolithographs of roses and pansies plus a British fox hunt scene with a decorative red, white and blue geometric border. It is fairly clean with some staining odor; but could easily be re-lined in a fabric of choice. The outside is in excellent condition with normal wear denting and scuff marks. According to paperwork that goes along with these pistols they are British from the years between 1730-1739. The letter goes on to say that they may have been for an individual military officer or the nobility (in the Kings Commission). The pistols themselves are wonderfully crafted with metal inlayed throughout. Condition varies between the two, Pistol one has a crack in the wood under the barrel lengthwise, a couple of chips in the wood, and some loose components. Pistol two has a loose trigger guard as a result of some cracks in the wood near the receiver, chip and crack near muzzle, and loose components. Both have some light rust/pitting on barrels and missing ram rods. For being estimated from the 1700's they have stood the test of time. They have not been test fired.
