Minimal Furniture, But Maximum of Everything Else
This sale will take place near the 60 and 57 fwys in Diamond Bar. This will be a nice clean sale in a pristine hilltop home. Not a lot of furniture, but there will be plenty of other goodies to pique your interest. We are still working to sort out and tag all the items, but among the items we have found so far:
- Vintage 1960's and 70's travel posters and related items
- Hundreds of books, (these are first-rate books of high quality. Some 1st editions, signed editions, antique and newer. A majority of the books deal with history, but also include numismatics, travel, religion, philosophy, sports, finance, etc.)
- Vintage 1950 school blackboard maps on rollers (very large; geography and history)
- Large cache of U.S. coins (U.S. mint, uncirculated, silver, tokens and commemoratives, etc.)
- Temper-Pedic adjustable bed (excellent condition)
- Refrigerator/freezer
- Electronics
- Records
- Two, five shelf lawyer bookcases (sliding swing-down glass doors)
- Metal file cabinets
- Tools
- Games
- 8mm projector
- Metal garage cabinets
- Hundreds of city maps, from 1950 to present
- Two locking safes
- Christmas decor
- Holiday train
- Washer/Dryer
- Refrigerator
- Sofa
- Stereo
- Two breakfast tables and chairs
- Ephemera
- Sewing room (fabric, thread, vintage dress patterns, etc.)
- Framed artwork
- Microwave
- Vintage silver plate coffee and tea sets
- Garden tools
- Desk
- and much, much more....
Please do not call for prices or advance viewings. We understand there will be high interest in the books, but unfortunately we will not entertain any buyout requests until after the second day of the sale (still a great deal considering the volume and quality of books).
Finally, if necessary, we will post a sign-in sheet at 7:00 am on the morning of the sale. Any other buyer-created sheets will be discarded, (sadly, we have had some buyers posting sign-in sheets the night before the sale in order to gain an unfair advantage over everyone else).
