This early 20's Spanish 2-story was designed and occupied by Cecil B. DeMille until his passing in the late 50's.  Most recently owned by a successful physician whose children grew up here, it will soon be sold to the highest bidder by Real Estate Broker Greg Privitelli, Coldwell Banker, Santa Monica. Numerous pieces of antique furniture with a definite leaning toward French, we have a gilded Louis XV style Vitrine, a large 19th C. French Mirror, a Bombe gilded and hand painted Music Cabinet, a Louis XVI style Fire Screen, a French style easy Chair and matching ottoman, a fitted Louis XVI style Gentleman's Armoire, Dresser, night cabinet and Bed. An early version of a Louis XV Love Seat and a round glass held by a Nouveau Lily Pad and vine, and a set of four cast French Chairs. There is a beautiful Welch Dresser, a Chippendale style Rocker, a very large wall hanging European Tapestry, an iron & tile side table, a Japanese bamboo Game Table with a hand painted scene, shown with four newer bamboo chairs, a round ebonized Asian Elephant Head supports a pair of middle 20's soda fountain stools in white porcelain with oak seats. There is a very well done tramp art side Table signed by Kurt Scholes (unlisted).  

 Additionally, there are pieces of contemporary furniture including a round marquetry game table with four upholstered chairs, a sofa, recliner, numerous upholstered chairs, occasional tables, set of China dinnerware, other dining and kitchenalia including small appliances.
