Home of Leonard & Lois Lindstrom
Leonard had this home custom built in 1962 and had remained in the home until his passing in 2012. He was an artist and art teacher at Luther Burbank High School, leading the art department, for over 25 years. After retirement, he volunteering teaching at the Women's Wisdom Program at the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. Although many of his art supplies, tools, materials and work were donated to the Women's Wisdom Program and other charities after his passing, you will find gourds, leather work and materials, furniture, drawing, art books, and other items as part of his legacy. He collected many things, and some of his old collectibles and much of his leather works and supplies will be for sale.
Lois loved creating a beautiful home filled with lovely furnishing and décor. She enjoyed knitting, baking, gardening and just collecting beautiful things during their travels. Although she was able to take much of her things to her new apartment, and keepsakes were passed down to her family, there remains many beautiful pieces of crystal and antique dishes, quality bakeware, and items for entertaining and decorating a home. Lois's wish is that others will love and enjoy her beautiful things for generations to come.
