This house consists of good taste and well thought out furnishings and art.. primarily bought from Scoffield's some years back.
The family informed me that their family has bought from Scoffield's for years and has even hired the same decorator and designer for generations.
Even the wrought iron garden furniture is nice enough to go inside your home.
The tools are light but in great condition, as if never used.
The antiques and collectibles are beautiful and tasteful, the men's items consisting of pocket knives, watches, engineer tools and pens are perfectly available to you.
The artwork is pristine and rugs all from Monseur's Gallery on Fair Oaks Blvd.
The little lady of the house collected these rugs for decades and they all appear brand new; hand tied, hand colored and mostly silk or wool. Just beautiful and rare to find all in one home.
The yard is full of fun and frolic and will be a blast to shop from.
The garage is mostly amongst the edges as we have moved much of it outside for you to rummage through there.
The checkout will be inside the garage and some meandering out into the driveway.
You ladies may enjoy the china, figurines, blown glass and kitchen decorative items-- while some of you guys may be more drawn to the games, toys, puzzles and electronics. We have lots of record albums too that focus mostly on very early country with some great labels all for 3 bucks a pop to start with. We have large men's and ladies coats and as well as a few men's suits.
There is an entire upstairs room full of holiday and what with Halloween and Christmas right around the corner it will be great to pick through her collection to add to your own.
We'll have office supplies, garden tools, hand tools for woodworking and power tools as well. There are primitives, needlework, linens and the most extensive semi-contemporary, quality wooden furniture that we have been offered by clients in years. Every single piece is perfect, beautiful and will add so much beauty to your own home or if you are like myself having a child move off to college (tomorrow is our special day when Sophie moves into her dorm-room at UCD) then you may want to buy a piece or two for their new apartment or home.
There are two dining sets, one with a matching hutch and buffet, both with additional leaves and one with complete pad. We have a beautiful forest green leather sitting chair with tuck and roll, leather office chair in a beautiful maroon and matching wrought iron, upholstered and sitting chairs in nearly every room as well as iron Italian gilt tables to match. The mirrors and paintings are just elegant and striking. We hope you can join us for coffee, donuts and the $100 raffle before the sale.
