This beautiful home in the heart of Kalorama contains many of the furnishings and decor from the former Italian Embassy at 16th and Fuller Streets, NW. Our client purchased the Embassy fully furnished in 2001. Many of the pieces are 17th and 18thC. antiques brought to the United States from Italy for the opening of the embassy in 1925. In addition this sale contains contemporary furnishings from Ralph Lauren, Theodore's and Crate and Barrel, as well as local high-end vendors and designers.

Like-new rattan sofa and ottoman with white duck upholstery. White glass dining table with leather legs and coordinating chrome and leather chairs. Ralph Lauren king-size bed. Gorgeous custom window treatments. Lighting fixtures original to the embassy -- also modern lamps and chandeliers. Saddles and tack. RL leather sofa, chair and coffee table. Balinese wedding chest.
