Stone topped console table flanked by two antique Italian vintner chairs, w/rush seats.Nice shot of one each of the two pair of stained glass panels, round marble topped dining table, set of 4 woven leather sling chairs, folk art by Atlanta artist Stephanie Durham, "What Chall Doing?"Long shot of the screened porch, with two pair of gorgeous, stained glass panels, one pair is curved.Pair of wicker rocking chairs, w/wicker side table and screened-porch-dictated candles and pottery doo dads.Another view of the round, marble-topped tanle and 4 woven leather sling chairs. I had lunch at this table today. I invite you to do the same, the screened porch is very therapeutic! The adults dine here, the kids dine at the antique Bung Manufacturing Co. table in the corner. Read the next description for details...Now THIS seems like something only I could dream up, BUT the manufacturer of this "kids" table, w/oak barrel theme, is actually called the Bung Manufacturing Co., located in Cincinnati, OH. Google it if you don't believe me - it's there. ;-)One of a pair of antique stained glass panels, a pair of modern metal 3-light sconces, mahogany settee, etc.Stadium seats from the Yankee StadiumSet/3 wrought iron/upholstered bar stoolsHUGE wall mirror. It's for those who are athletically inclined in the bedroom. This was actually taken from the top of a king sized poster bed. Set/4 mohair & wood frame dining chairsComfy chair w/matching ottomanBig ol' wooden coffee table, stolen from Starbuck's when they weren't looking. With the prices they want for a cup o' joe, I had to get something!Hand woven, 100% wool octagonal rug - something you won't see everyday. NOT from The Dump.I need to get a better picture of this framed art when the light is better. Stay tuned...HUGE carved wooden mirror - you tell ME who's the fairest of them all. It'll look better hung on the wall...You can be crafty and creative and make something else out of this thing.Asian version of the Last Supper.Lenticular art can be cool!Ugh!Hammered copper panel armoire.Antique settee, in recoveryBernhardt sleigh queen bed & matching armoire - pic to comeAntique Persian runner - just enough wear and repair to make it extra cool!Inlaid tile top outdoor table, with perfect patina Now THIS is a rug! It is one of the best rugs I've ever had the pleasure of selling at my estate sales. It measures 14'5" x 11'3"and is in pristine condition for an antique Serapi. During my illustrious work career, similar to Forrest Gump, I worked for Mr. Eddie Moattar at House of Persia, formerly located on W. Paces Ferry Road. He was interesting to work for - very knowledgeable and a zillionaire from selling gorgeous rugs to all the Buckhead elite. In 1983, I sold two similar rugs to the contractor who had just landed the MARTA contract, for the paltry sum of $50K.We all know that rug prices have taken a major dive over the past few years, but Serapis of this quality are still highly sought after by those who know great rugs. Don't miss this one. This picture shows the true colors of the rug - very nicely aged blues and reds - TASTY!My knees got weak when I first saw this rug. Seriously, it's that nice. Can you tell I like this thing? It doesn't really fly, but it will transport you to rug nirvana...YUMMY!Close-up shot of the center medallion. You can be an Atlanta sultan, if you wish.Wonderful contemporary art, signed by local Atlantan, AJH 1992, sold at Fay Gold Gallery. OK, enough about that ol' rug! Now you can see how nice it looks as the foundation for the room. Nicely carved wooden tilt-top gallery table, with a pair of vintage French brass angels and a silver plated Swiss music box. Antique wooden bookcase, w/3 glass shelves and filled with old lady collectibles and sparkly things - my favorite!Wonderful antique English secretary, with French gilt bronze table lamp, pair of large bradass candlesticks, etc.Look - something you've never seen before! A white wooden corner cabinet, filled to the brim with tchotchkes: plates, figurines, silverplate, bowls, vases, teapots, all toped with a pair of Asian-y vases and a cool yellow alabaster vase. You must be THIS tall to ride this ride, or to reach the vase.Very nice English library table with assorted lovelies. You really do have to come to this sale. I worked hard to achieve this high tack look...Wormy pine and hammered brass entertainment/bar thing. This is much better in person. It's an original watercolor by a Russian artist. It could use a better frame, but if you've had anything well framed recently - grab your ankles...Supposedly Henredon love seat. I say supposedly, because the owner swears it's so, but I couldn't find any documentation when looking in all the usual hiding places. We could all use a good date and this thing is so dated, it'll make a train take a dirt road. Oh well, I hear tell it takes a double wide to really bring out its best side.Very nice pine coffee table, 4' square.Large European Grafofoni Columbia poster, lording over the most comfy overstuffed chair and matching ottoman, resting on my favorite Persian Serapi. Flanked by black marble topped side table. with heavy brass table lamp. This is one side of the den, with a wall o' art that'll make you swoon!Pair of antique reproduction English knife boxesUpstairs, there lurks a very nice, handwoven, 100% wool Persian rug runner."Meditation", 174/350, by Tarkay, silk screen medium, cost $2,260.00 in 1995. Itzchak Tarkay was an Israeli artist. Tarkay was born in 1935 in Subotica on the Yugoslav-Hungarian border. In 1944, Tarkay and his family were sent to the Mauthausen Concentration Camp, until Allied liberation freed them a year later. He died June 3, 2012. Top piece, signed/numbered by Yaacov Agam. Born in 1928 a son of a Rabbi of Rishon LeZion (Israel), who devoted his life to the study of Jewish religious matters and wrote books. Agam considers himself somehow as a visual continuation of his father's quest for spirituality.

Agam studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, and in Switzerland at the Eidgenossische Technische Hochschule and the Zurich University. After arriving to Paris in 1951, Agam held his first one-man exhibition with a great success in 1953. This exhibition consisted totally of kinetic, movable and transformable paintings, which actually was the first one-man show in art history exclusively devoted to kinetic art.Original WW 1 poster,This is a great find for both it's age, size and history for a WWI poster. This piece is known as "Sure We'll Finish the Job." The colors are quite vibrant still! The picture depicts a worker reaching into the pocket of her overalls as if to retrieve money. It's a good looking poster. The illustrator was Gerrit A. Beneker. It states at the top:
SURE! We'll Finish the Job-
At the bottom it reads:
VICORY LIBERTY LOANVvrroooooom! You need this poster to reaffirm your manly side. It'll be assembled and ret ta go by sale day. We forgot some of the precision parts...Framed art is just OK, but the antique settee is quite nice, freshly reupholstered, resting on a hand woven, 100% wool rug, anchored by a La Barge-ish brass/glass coffee table on faux bamboo stand. Detail of the Patina headboard. We supply the shell, the Venus is up to you...Red stained desk/bookcase (originally retailed for $2,500.00), loaded with CD's and flanked with a pair of vintage Stiffel lamps, w/white porcelain bases. Vintage oak desk. That's all I have to say about this. ;-)"Witches Sabbath", by GA artist Dale Rayburn, (signed/numbered 6/100). Dale has captured the souls of tragic heroes, of rascals and rogues, of "everyman" struggling with life itself. His work is used to define the genre of "typically southern" art: yet, like fine Southern literature, his work transcends the regional boundaries and stereotypes to stand confidently on its own.I could find no signature on this train wreck. If you spent time creating this, would you sign your name to it?"On the Wing", by GA artist Dale Rayburn (signed/dated 92/100).Gilded chair, so you can be the queen you want to be.Colorful artwork of Señorita, who has to fan away the effects of beans and rice for dinner. Don't forget the French carved wood console table - very nice!Dining room table fit for Krystle or Alexis, from Dynasty - thick glass top, supported by sugar daddy bases. You can choose between hand carved mahogany chairs, w/red seat, or antique chairs, covered in buff colored mohair, sitting atop a hand woven, 100% wool rug in sepia tones - very sha sha sha.Note the Italian tole wall sconces flanking the wall hogging repurposed mirror from Hugh Hefner's king sized bed.
