We accept cash, credit & debit cards, as payment, with a 3% credit card fee - nothing's free, someone has to pay for those skymiles! We have a few boxes available, but if you feel moved to do so, please bring boxes and packing material - you'll need them! Please make an effort to bring your own muscle (gardner/house boy) to load heavy furniture.

We had to do something to generate cash for those unexpected holiday expenditures, so we decided to throw a Hootenanny of an estate sale, with the blessing, of course, from the willing homeowner. This is the kind of sale that compels you to buy something that is complicated and beautiful, just for yourself. People can sense it, but they can't put a finger on it. Yippee! The homowners have granted us permission to take 50% (original prices) off on most items in the house. They are very proud of six items in the house and will not allow any discounts on them. See if you can find them.   ;-)

This house is the culmination of three different homes, funneled into one. There was a death in the family, which caused one move, health issues of the surviving spouse led to another quick move, then the daughter had to throw a few possessions into the mix to create one heck of a house full o' treasure, as the title of this sale implies.

If you've attended any of our previous sales, hopefully you noticed that our sales tend to be very clean, neat, orderly and organized, staffed with helpful, friendly people who enjoy their jobs.

We price every item in the house, so that check out is quick and thorough. We provide a receipt with every item clear and present. We LOVE what we do and most of our customers. That said, please realize that we don't tolerate theft of any kind at our sales. During a recent sale, we had a gentleman purchase a very nice piece of art. After two weeks, he denied the charges. Because of this incident, we have now installed two cameras at our checkout to photograph every transaction. If you want to steal from estate sales, please realize that you need to visit another sale, not ours. We will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law, no questions. Get it? Got it? GOOD! I feel much better now, thanks.

This house is for sale, shows well and looks like a chipmunk at a peanut farm. For those of you who have no visualization, it is a full house.

As you enter the front door, the living room is to the right, a hallway leading to the dining room and master suite and stairs leading up to three bedrooms. The living room has a pair of upholstered club chairs, a large wooden entertainment center with excellent stereo system, several Asian vases, a marble topped Victorian table, lamps and smalls. You’ll see lot’s of smalls in every room, so I’ll refrain from redundancy in my detailed descriptions.

As you proceed forward into the dining room, you'll find a wonderful pastel chain stitch rug, a dining room suite consisting of a hand painted French country table (w/two leaves) china hutch and buffet, a set of four Baker mahogany side chairs, two plastic shelving units ( I know, they’re tacky, but how else was I supposed to display all the smalls these women have collected over the years?) FULL of china, porcelain smalls, collectibles, brass items, etc., several pieces of artwork, brass/glass wall sconces, HUGE gold framed beveled mirror, several candlesticks, Asian fishbowl, large painted milk can and two tables heavily laden with collectible plates. I don’t know who collects these things anymore, but please come buy them! I have a job to do and please don’t embarrass me by having these plates left over after the sale. How can I ever face these sweet old ladies and tell them that no one really likes these plates anymore?

Turn right  to enter the kitchen and breakfast room and you'll find several sets of china, silver-plated hollowware (you better be impressed, because I personally polished each and every piece - ask to see my black fingernails), crystal stemware, glassware, kitchen appliances, pots and pans, Pyrex, artwork, silk flowers, a wonderful and astonishingly heavy table, "Blackberry Road" by Charleston Forge (Boone, NC) & 4 chairs ( 2 arm, 2 side), sitting on a black rug, with custom border.

Continue forward into the den where you’ll find a very nice handwoven, 100% wool 9’ x 12’ Talibur rug, fireplace with tools, brass fan, brass flue pull and antique cast iron andirons, vintage daybed with cane back and heart pine slats, beautiful house trained plants, with mood lighting, nice beveled glass mirror, pair of handsome wall sconces, upholstered green chair (looks like a frog if you squint) a couple of antique wooden chairs, a hand made metal/glass sore table that cost a fortune when new.

Go down the hallway leading from the den to the garage and you'll see a laundry room on your left, with a General Electric washer (new) and dryer (older).

The garage is a storage wonderland of years of collectibles. I could write for a long time attempting to describe the contents, but just look at the pictures, they tell the story

The main floor master bedroom has a king size Select Comfort bed with French cane headboard, a mid-century Frenchy beveled glass & cane coffee table, Tommy Bahama-esque entertainment center with stereo and five speaker surround sound system, antique dresser and matching bedside tables, pair of clear crystal lamps, an antique Persian rug that has almost been shredded with age, mahogany desk, deco-inspired upholstered armchair, brass reading lamp, mirrors, etc.

Proceed up the stairs and you'll find three bedrooms, the first has an antique English mahogany bed with top rail, mahogany and beveled glass table, framed artwork and lamps.

Another bedroom has an entire suite of God-awful Ikea furniture. That store has some decent items, but most of their items are cheap and flimsy. This bedroom set is functional, but don’t expect to pass it down to future generations. There is a very cool multi-colored corner light, some decent artwork and kid’s toys.

The last bedroom has an antique French bed, that has ben married together to create a full size bed, a mid-century chest of drawers, a pickled wood rocking chair with matching ottoman, very ugly pair of pottery lamps and American Plainsman maple bedside tables - yak.
