A TRULY LOVELY HIGH END SALE IN HAMPSHIRE!
Please NOTE: There is a circular driveway and more driveway to the garage. We will park our cars in the driveway by the front door, so please do not park there. If you do choose to park on the drive, stay way to the right so as to let others get in and out. If it gets too crowded, we will have to ask you to park on the street. Also if you are using a GPS, you may need to put in Elgin, rather than Hampshire!
We are thrilled to be able to present to you this gorgeous sale in a truly amazing home. It is a large, beautiful home which sits on 8 acres of horse property and there are many outdoor items for sale......small statues, trellises, bird feeder, large heavy fountain and they are all around the property, so you will have to look for them. There is also a very nice gas grill. If the weather is wet, we'll try to gather as much as we can and put in one spot.
Some of what we have seen so far for sale are some incredible items, both small and large. There is a very lovely John Widdicomb tallboy, a bedroom set with four poster bed (cherry) by American Drew, beautiful condition. There are also pieces to make it into a canopy bed along with the canopy, just stunning! The side tables in this room are both different and are also marvelous.
Great kitchen drop leaf table with Lyre chairs. The dining room is to die for. A stunning cherry dining room table and chairs in beautiful condition which came from the Woodstock Monastery. There is also a beautiful sideboard in this room (with two "secret" drawers!).
We have a vintage banker's desk which is something you don't see very often. Also in this room is a very unusual Asian style file cabinet! There is a small drop leaf desk, and there are quite a few smaller occasional tables and all are different and in great condition, very high quality. Several bookcases, some books, CDs. We have a nice selection of lamps, art pieces including two very lovely handmade quilts, a tapestry "Tree of Life", MANY gorgeous rugs including Aubusson style needlepoint rug and more. There are two light brown leather chairs, one has an ottoman. Several attractive wing back chairs, including a silk stripe French fauteil chair, and a pair of French Bergere style chairs by Sam Moore with lovely custom fabric from the Merchandise Mart. Also we have a pink velvet Queen Anne style chair, cherry secretary also with secret compartments. There is a sunroom filled with Bernhardt black wicker furniture, lamps, rug and an antique wrought iron table/chair set.
There are more rugs, pictures, china sets (four in all......holiday parties!), art and stay tuned for many more pictures as we setup this fabulous sale!
We also have some men's and women's clothing, quite a bit. AND some nice men's jewelry, mostly cuff links, one is 18K/sterling and lapis, also a men's belt, size 32, from Tiffany's with original box and pouch!
There are household/kitchen items....we have pots, pans, two Keurigs (one smaller one), and a great quantity of entertaining items for the holidays or for gifts! There is a full Parabody exercise gym and a mini fridge. screen TV (I believe it is 48"), several exquisite mirrors, home décor pieces, clothing and more.
There is a tool room with many types of not only tools, (hand tools, large miter saw with separate stand), but also camera and darkroom equipment, viewers, Super 8 and more. We also have two great cameras for you, a 40's-50's Leica IIIC with case, booklet (all in German) and a table top tripod.....also a Linhof Teknicha in a large case with everything you need in it. This is a great camera! There is brand new laminate flooring in boxes in this same room.....owner says enough for an entire room!
Lots of holiday items, Christmas tree all setup, many decorations, other holidays, lamp shades and other decor items and just so much more.
The garage and shed hold all sorts of useful items.....lawn mower, power washer, full size freezer, garden tools and more.
