First come, first served. NUMBERS AT 7 a.m, SALE STARTS AT 8

We accept cash, checks and credit cards with proper id. Tag sale items are by nature generally vintage/used, are sold "as is", and cannot be returned. No previews or early sales. We try to keep plenty of packing paper and boxes on hand for our buyers. Please bring help to load furniture. Neither we nor the homeowner will be held responsible for accidents. Well-behaved children are ALWAYS welcome at our sales.

Gay Gasper Estate Sales Team is hosting a wonderful tag sale on Saturday, September 20 (numbers at 7 a.m., sale runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.) at a cottage at The Cedars of Meadowmont in Chapel Hill.

Here's our line-up procedure.

It might be different from other companies who are newer to this business and to our area, but this has always been the standard in Chapel Hill, and is fair, tried and true when people follow it.  The only variable for us is that sometimes we hand out numbers, and other times we have our shoppers line up right before the sale starts.  We'll be handing out numbers for this sale at 7 a.m..

The first person to arrive with the intention to stay until the sale opens starts "the list".  That person is #1.   The next person to arrive who is going to stay puts his/her name on the list, and is #2.  No starting a list the night before and leaving, no putting the names of other people who aren't there with you on the list.   If you put your name on the list and then leave, you lose your spot.  You don't have to stand on the front porch - you can go sit in your car - but you need to be in the vicinity to stay on the list.

Due to high demand/low parking space, as well as the need to keep the neighborhood as quiet and orderly as possible, we WILL be handing out numbers for this sale at 7 a.m.  Even if your name is on the list, YOU MUST BE THERE AT 7 TO GET YOUR NUMBER OR YOU LOSE YOUR SPOT.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Get your number at 7, go have coffee or whatever, then come back and line up at 7:50.  Sale starts at 8.
