On a quiet tree lined street in Brighton, NY. you’ll find our latest sale.  This beautiful home offers a large variety of antiques, silver serving pieces, mid-century modern furniture and over 200 pieces of jewelry –all that mixed in with decorative arts from Asia, Europe and Africa.

In the living room there’s a sofa and armchairs where the owners sat and listened to the 19^th century Baby Grand piano surrounded by 20^th century paintings, prints and drawings which can also be found throughout the house – plenty to choose from!  Many unusual items include a zebra skin, lamps and several items of decorative Asian art.  There are sets of fine china, crystal and glassware including an elegant punch bowl with matching glass cups.  The dining room has several pieces of 19^th century Federal furniture and is packed with over 100 pieces of sterling or plated silver.

Upstairs there are beds, a pair of matching reproduction French armchairs and antique chests of drawers, dressers, bookcases and mirrors.  There is an office decorated in an African theme – furniture covered with fake zebra and cheetah fabrics and plenty of Giraffe, Rhino and Cheetah figurines.

Choose from over 200 pieces of jewelry and accessories including designer scarves, belts, gloves, purses, bags and shoes – Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Etienne Aigner, Yves St. Laurent, etc.  Also closets full of women’s clothes – coats, jackets, skirts, blouses, dresses and pants – Talbot's, Chico, etc. … much to choose from in sizes ranging from Large to 16.

Everywhere you turn in this house you’ll find bookcases full of 19^th and 20^th century literature, biographies and autobiographies, travel books and more – don’t miss them as you’ll find them both upstairs and downstairs.  Also a large selection of vinyl records, some of them jazz!
