I accept cash, checks, and most credit cards. I use two part tags and clients tear the bottom half and check out with the bottom half.

Mr Herbert was an avid antique collector and for some years a dealers and glass grinder.    Ine the sale will be two Asa Munger Clocks  are made in Auburn , NY. One has carved columns, both are 8 day with brass dials, second dials, and good readable labels.   There is a very rare clock made in Marcellus by Phillip Smith.  It is an full column, 8 day  # 142, with reverse painting on lower door, and has a good label.    The fourth clock is by  Jared Arnold Jr.  fof Amber,NYand has round columns, early brass dials, hand painted face and is in good condition. 

Wiclox and Gibbs of NY made the sewing machine in 1897.  There is also a Sears Kenmore portable sewing machind.  In the rafters today we found a Nettleton Sewing machine( 1858).  There is a knitting machine in good contition.   

There is a signed Mottville chair, a set of 5 ladderback chairs made in Canastota NY, a set of 3 barrel back plank seat chairs, and s, everal other chairs.  

Glass ware includes: Steuben,  Hawkes,  Wavecrest, Mount Washington, Waterford,  cranberry glass,  blown art glass,  pressed glass and much more! 

Ceramics: Rookwood, Weller,  Limoges, Nippon, Syracuse China, local Syracuse pottery maker,  crocks, jugs. Ovoid crock made by Holland Darby & Co. of Cortland, NY.

Furniture:  Depression era bedroom suite with vanity, end tables, mirroeed chest, and high chest with couble bed.  there is also Painted white chests,  vanity, maple chest, Early Cherry chest,  Mahogany China Cabinet, and more.   

Children's:  Games, books, Sterling baby fork, youth chairs, Indian bead loom,  1930's doll bed,  wicker doll carraige, wordrobe full of doll clothes,  View master with 30 slides of Hopalong Cassidy,  Mickey Mouse club, and so much more.  Bowling games,  pool table,  race cars,  still unpacking attic items. Lionel train set tracks and two sets. 

Books: Early childrens,  youth,  1932 directory of Syracuse,  Auburn Directories,  Syracuse history and local history.  Cook books,   Populare Science mags(1950) 

Fine Art:  Signed litho on Canvas( 47 1/2" x 36"), Several other signed paintings and prints. Wallace Nutting Print,   Grandma Moses,  and  other artists.

Three early telephones.  One was made in 1915, one wood box, one  1920's.  Early    LC. Smith Typewriter   Franklin Car made in Syracuse papers.  Three fishing poles with reels and two tackle boxes. Lather,  glass cutting machine(2),  1886 jig saw,  8 or 10 tool boxes filled with tools and fittings.  So much more.  Early rockers wicker settee, chairs,  beds.  Dont miss this one!!.    :

This sale has so many items  that I cannot mention them all.  Everyday we find more.

Asa Munger Clock( 1820) made this clock in Auburn, NY  It has carved columns, brass dials, 8 day strike and second  hand dials. Mr. Kopp states that it runs well.  The other Asa Munger is not pictured but has the same details.This is the Amber Gerald Arnold Jr. Clock with brass dial, round columns and is weight driven. The Phillip Smith clock made in Marcellus, NY.  It is considered rare.  It is a beautiful clock.  It is an 8 day, full carved columns, reverse painting, and is # 142.  This is a sample of the many paintings and prints in the estate. More information about others will come soon.Wilcox and Gibbs Automatic Silent shuttle machine made in NY in 1897.  The original book is included.  Oak three section book case.  In the front of the book case is the marble base to a large mirror. The Wilcox and Gibbs mini sewing machine made in NY in 1902.  The oak cabinet has the communion set in the drop down cabinet in the lower section.  The painting on the figures and glass is well done and early.Five shelf mahogany étagère. One of two china cabinets.  Sample of some of the small items.  Brass frames, inkwell, Eagle, and clock.  The clock has a bell on top. Early Cherry two drawer stand.The central basket is Wavecrest .   The fig salt shakers are made by Mt. Washington Glass Co.  The darker colored ones are more rare than the white ones.  The clear to Ruby Pitcher on the left back is hand blown. The cranberry glass compote has applied detail to the rim and is hand blown.  The cut to clear decanter is blown.  Other blown pieces are the bowl, cup and small art glass piece in right corner.  The The Staffordshire pitcher is "Lucerne".   The note inside the "Rebecca at the well " teapot states it was made in Syracuse.  I am checking that.  These are four  Steuben footed glasses with hand trimmed green.  Found the signature on each glass.All four pieces were made in Syracuse from 1872-1940's.  The lithograph is 47 1/2" x 35"  The pieces for the frame are in an envelope.  1950'.s children's toys and games.  This is a sampleCast iron pieces include small pots, nut cracker, match holders, lamp holders, and early lamp base.  Griswold corn pan.  Waterford Cut Glass Chandelier in excellent condition.  Pier mirror with marble base.  Mottville armed chair with caned seat, rocking chair and more chairs.  This high chest has a  vanity, and  mirrored chest to match this piece. Some of the silver plate pieces.  The cherub on the upper left hand piece cannot  be seen to well but is a sugar server.The china head doll has a kid body.  the face is unusual in that her eyes are gazing up.  She is a beautiful doll from 1860=80.Five castor sets.  One has blooming lily handle and warrior face feet.  All have 5  or 6 bottles.  Some of the games from the 50's  "Calling all Cars" from the Dragnet TV Show  and "Swayze" is another from a 1950's tv show.  Both are in good condition.Crocks and planters.  The jugs are from Cortland and other places.  The one with blue has no maker marked on it.  Sample of the hand painted Limoges makers, Nippon and English hall marks. The post card album has 95 post cards of the Erie Canal, Syracuse and other areas.  No tape or paste were used on these post cards.The youth chairs shown here are all 19th C. and one is a rocker, the seats are all woven cane and all in good condition.  The cherry drop leaf table has square turned legs, one board top.  The chair is one of three.  The Kellog's Advertising booklet in good condition. The hand made lace is a sample and the needlepoint piece is about 12" x 15"  The wicker doll carriage has an American Character baby doll inside.  The 1930's wood doll bed has blue paint, the other bed is cast iron headboard and foot.  The wardrobe is full of doll clothes.  The wardrobe is painted pine.  This is part of the Girl's kitchen toy.  An electric stove, wash-o-matic  washing machine,  new in box miro kitchen set, and  baking set,  This doll is a 20 inch baby doll with knit over body.  She clothes are typical of early 1900's.The maple baby's chest has storage behind the two doors, and plenty of drawer space. The fall front maple desk has three graduated drawers,  Erector Sets in original cases.  Both have motors.  One is bigger with more pieces. Sale PicturePacked away in the attic was All of this Fire King with the original labels.  There are bakes pans,  measure cups, covered bowls and ramekins. Lionel Train cars are pictured here.  There are two sets with track and accessories.  The bulldozer is remote control  Several other remote control cars are also in the sale. The lamp shade is in good condition and has fruit depicted in the edges. This is a sample of the wicker.  There are about 10-15 pieces and most of it is early.There are Woman's day magazines from 1953 & 54.  This doll house was built by Mr. Kopp for his two daughters.  The furniture will be sold with it.  The lathe and there will be many tools to use with it. This is not a good photo but it was patented in 1886 and has cast iron legs and is in good condition for its age. It is a jig saw.  One of two  glass grinding machines.
