This coming week at our estate sale we're featuring an original oil painting titled "STORMY SKY OVER THE BIG BEND" by Texas artist Jose Vives-Atsara. His work is represented in public collections including the Museum of modern Art in Spain, Fort Worth Art Museum in Texas and the Vatican Museum in Rome to mention just a few. His work is also displayed in state capitals throughout the South including Texas.


* ART: In addition to the great art piece by Vives-Atsara we also have the book titled "Jose Vives-Atsara His Life and His Art" both signed and numbered. We're also featuring a couple of beautiful antique oil paintings on board of Roman scenes from Florence Italy figured to be over 100 years all in Beautiful condition...artist unknown. A set of five lawyer themed colored steel painted by W. Denby Sadler and etched by James Dobie titled "Country Clients", "The right of way", "The plaintiff and the defendant", "A little mortgage" and "The new will". Three more engravings and etchings of Nassau Street in New York, A couple of beautiful Nagel posters and book, A Mexican temple rubbing by artist Ann Parker & Avon Neil titled "head of the warrior" signed and numbered. Print named "Making Up Syrup" by Jack Deloney numbered and signed, A variety of handpainted Spanish fans beautifully framed in shadowboxes, painted folk art platters, original watercolor by Paula Rayer Nemec, Native American signed/numbered 93/150 by Sandi Mcrae titled " Babe of the moon of the changing seasons" and many more pieces of art throughout the house.

We also have a Beautiful bronze sculpture by artist Robert Scriver titled "DULE ON THE PRAIRIE" signed & numbered 52/110 created in 1983. Measures 22"H x 24"L x 12"W and must weigh at least 30 lbs... A true collectors piece!

* EPHEMERA:  This week at our sale you will find a great collection of Vintage SMU game programs, memorabilia and ephemera in addition to ROTUNDA year books dating as far back as 1946 through the mid-1950s. State Fair memorabilia and dozens of different ticket stubs. We also have dozens of vintage gas station road maps as well as other city and state vintage vacation maps of the US in great condition. 


* FRONT TABLE ITEMS: At our front table you'll find A handful of sterling silver handle serving pieces and silverware in addition to a sterling vintage yo-yo and another handful of Sterling miscellaneous pieces and a 12k gold tiebar. Sorry girls... only a couple of womens vintage jewelry pieces. A small collection of men's costume cufflinks with tiebars, great vintage lighters… no zippo's. About half a dozen casted vintage trucks and cars as well as pocketknives and toy guns. Over a dozen vintage skeleton keys, a bag of old vintage locks with keys, hotel room keys from the hotel Lubbock in Texas and the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth. A small collection of Boy Scout/Cub Scout memorabilia from the 40s including a shirt, a great collection of old postage stamps and a great old tin box filled with old shotgun shells.

* FURNITURE: Beautiful orange upholstered mid century couch by HERITAGE furniture made "expressly" for Jordan Marsh department store. On either side are complementary end tables also by HERITAGE and two midcentury beautiful lamps. Beautiful Moroccan bone inlaid coffee table and mid century blue upholstered armchair.

Mid century Spanish style china hutch and curio cabinet. Stunning Hollywood Regency metal gold rope Tea trolley with glass shelves and a pair matching three-tiered serving/ decorative shelving.
 
Antique flame mahogany armed bench with stripe upholstery, brown leather with metal stud sofa by Ferguson Copeland LTD. Beautiful liar base antique mahogany Leathertop coffee table with brass footed tips. Pair of French style wooden chairs upholstered and green suede with antique brass studded detailing, oversized oriental Chippendale contemporary glass top dining table with eight chairs with a burl wood-finish. Two-sided four panel Asian themed painted room screen/divider. Miscellaneous shelving throughout the house, miscellaneous mid century and Asian accent tables throughout the home as well.
 
A couple of mid century bedroom sets and pieces...
