A 16th century Italian oil painting on canvas, "The Wedding of St. Catherine", the title on a plaque attached to the frame, a late Renaissance work attributed to Paolo Caliari, [also known as Varonese] by persons unknown and showing the Virgin holding the Christ child out to St. Catherine for the mystical nuptials.
Note:  "letters of verification" are noted as accompanying this work but have not been inspected.  While it is not in the purview of this appraisal to authenticate any work, it is our considered opinion that this work was accomplished by a member of The Circle of Verones [Paolo Caliari, [1528-1588]]
