Payment Dates

$100 Cash deposit required with registration and to receive bidding number. Payment in full is expected in at the day of auction.

Cash, Cashier’s or Personal Check with verifiable letter of guarantee from bank .

Removal Times/Failure To Remove

There is plenty of parking available for any size trucks and trailers. Please plan to take your purchase home with you on auction day. Won items must be picked up by 6pm the day of the auction. We will provide two additional days (Sunday and Monday) for any items that cannot be picked up on Saturday. 

If for any reason the buyer fails to remove any purchases within the time specified, the Auction Co. shall have the right but not the obligation, in its sole discretion, to resell, discard or remove and store said purchase at the buyers sole risk and expense (storage costs will be charged - per day - per item - other costs additional), without waiving any rights that Auction Co. or seller may have against buyer. Storage charges will be the responsibility of the buyer (after removal period.) If the purchases have not been removed it will be considered abandoned and the Auction Co. reserves the right to relist/resell any and all those items considered to be abandoned or forfeited when invoice is paid in full but not removed completely from auction location.

Storage Fees/Restocking Fees

Auction Co. RESERVES THE RIGHT to charge any credit card registered with your account up to 20% as a non-refundable restocking fee (minimum $25.00 charge) based on total purchase price during the auction or immediately following the auction. The non-refundable restocking fee (minimum $25.00 charge) will be applied when invoices are not paid in full. We do not accept partial payments. Invoices must be paid in full. All payments must be in U.S. Funds.

Titled Items

Titled items will also be charged a $95.00 broker fee and a $15.00 title fee. All titled items purchased with the intent of taking that item out of the country are recommended to contact the title department as soon as the winning bid is accepted.

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES. All items sold "AS IS WHERE IS" with all faults.

Condition of Auction Items

High bids are considered legal binding contracts and all sales are final. All items are sold "as is where is", with NO guarantee, warranty, or possible refund written, expressed, or implied. The working/running condition of an item may not be known and may not always be listed in the items description. Sometimes we do know and list the condition of the items, but many times do not. 

It is buyer's responsibility to inspect item before bidding. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.S. Don't rely solely on the item description, do your own inspection before bidding.  All items are subject to prior sale.  We are free to add or remove items from the sale without prior notice.

We have a forklift to aid in loading purchased items.

Recovery Special Consignment Sales

All consignments must be dropped off at A STAR AUCTIONS no later than 7 days prior to the auction day. Please contact us at 281-239-8900 for additional information regarding items you with to sell.

General Information

Dealers must bring a completed tax exemption form to each sale to avoid paying tax. We must see a copy of your tax exemption certificate otherwise you will be charged tax! NO EXCEPTIONS.  

NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 ALLOWED ON PREMISES.
