The owner of this home is selling off her antique collection that has been tucked away for many years. This sale can best be described as "London chic with a bit of Connecticut barn".
As a young girl in Connecticut, where "tag sales" are commonplace, she went on weekend antique excursions with her parents. She grew up in Wilton, CT, in a home made of two converted barns. Her parents, who collected antiques, took the family to England to live and to grow the antique business. In 1997, she started her own antiques business and wound up spending a decade in Colorado decorating mountain homes and condos. In 2007, she sold her interior design business and home in Telluride and headed east. After taking a year off, she settled in Washington, started a very successful interior design company, and is now ready to sell her antique collectibles.
This is a one-of-a-kind sale. This sale features English, French and American original antiques. Also included are garden and architectural pieces, pottery, textiles, enamelware, and many hard-to-find items.
This sale has an invested dollar value of approximately $80,000.
Also included, lots of home decor items, watercolors, wonderful top-of-the-line women's clothing, velvet curtains (hunter/orange/mustard/ ruby), and so much more!
More pictures will be posted as items are delivered from storage in North Carolina. Stay tuned!
