Numbers for those wishing to be first in the sale on Friday morning can come by the Irvin Wood home Thursday, October 2, from 5 - 6PM.

Please bring someone to help you load heavy furniture and equipment. There is no one here to help you do that. There is no delivery service.

Irvin C. Wood, a Roanoke native, was employeed in management for American Oil Co. and then Amoco Oil.  He attended Roanoke College and joined American Oil in 1942.  He spent three years in the Marine Corps during World War II.  He was manager of the Roanoke marketing division from 1954 to 1960.  He retired in Roanoke.
