Fine Art, Silver, and Antiques from Multiple Virginia and North Carolina Estates

Perry Adams Antiques will be holding its final estate sale of 2015 on October 9, 10 and 11. The sale includes items from multiple estates, including that of Dr. Ernest Campbell Mead, Jr. (Charlottesville), Dr. Cynthia L. Irvin (Roxboro, NC), Mr. Frank Moore (Dinwiddie County), along with several estates from Petersburg, Fredericksburg and Colonial Heights.

The sale, which will be held at 9. W. Old St. in Petersburg, includes an array of fine art, silver, and 18th and 19th century furniture. Items of note include a Valley of Virginia walnut desk with bookcase top; a Victorian writing table from Hickory Hill Plantation, the home of Confederate General Williams Carter Wickham; a 19th century Meissen figure of “Day;” S. Kirk and Son silver; sterling and Waterford Christmas ornaments; and a selection of new TISSOT watches from an area bankruptcy.

Please check this site on a regular basis, as we will be continually adding more items almost on a daily basis, until the sale. This is a very large sale. Perry Adams Antiques is pleased that the Historic Petersburg Foundation is a co-sponsor of this sale, and that a percentage of the proceeds, from the sale, will go to benefit their conservation, preservation and restoration activities.
