Trunk Full of Treasures

Trunk Full of Treasures did a great job finding other purposes for my mother's belongings. During the initial meetings, they were very thorough in explaining how they run an estate sale and what they expected from me. They worked very hard preparing for the sale, separating sellable items from those that should be donated or discarded, and cleaning the dishware and glasses. All of the smaller items were displayed on tables so that they could be easily examined; nothing was left in the cupboards and drawers. Just about every single object was individually priced. Signs were placed throughout the house to direct the traffic flow and cautions were located near potential hazards. Although I was not there on the days of the sale, my impression is that it must have been run very efficiently given the large number of people that I was told visited. I was surprised to hear that ten TFOT team members were present to run and supervise the sale. I was also surprised when I found out that the proceeds of the sale exceeded the original, but understandably very speculative, estimate. After the sale, TFOT disposed of all of the unsold items leaving the house completely empty and vacuumed. The outside property was also left in a very neat state. The entire estate sale process ran very smoothly and TFOF did everything that they said they would. The only minor exception was that small adjustments to the schedule were made, due to unforeseeable circumstances, which, in my case, were no bother at all. Trunk Full of Treasures is to be highly commended for their expertise, professionalism and hard work.

The TFOT team is no less than amazing!! We had already moved from the Long Beach house, to our new home in Riverside County, and what we left behind, with the intention of eventually doing our own garage sale, was in disarray, to say the least. Lots of what we had left was certainly junk, but mixed within the junk were treasures collected by us, and inherited from beloved relatives. With our real estate agent pressing to get the house on the market, we realized that our "garage sale" idea just wasn't workable - we couldn't imagine how we would even begin to sort through the rubble to find the jewels, let alone price things appropriately and organize it all for a cohesive sale. Our agent recommended Trunk Full of Treasures, and the Calvary arrived in the nick of time. What they accomplished within the span of a couple weeks was amazing. They sorted through the valueless, found the valuables, organized, presented, and advertised our things for a fabulous Estate Sale, and also marketed some things on eBay. Wayne even kept an eye out for some personal items that we had missed in our packing - family photos, etc., and they were returned to us. We got a net check for a surprisingly large amount - much more than we would have been able to achieve on our own, and certainly with absolutely no hassle. And, the house was left spotless when they were done. We have nothing but praise for TFOT, and would recommend them to anyone that wants to turn their collected clutter into dollars.

Trunk Full of Treasures was an absolute find for my mother and I as we started to prepare her home for sale. Their professional manner and absolute trustworthiness were invaluable! Not only was my mother's estate sale a huge success, but they completed the job by leaving the property very clean. I recommend them highly and will be using them to sell my furniture in the near future.

The loss of a loved one is emotionally overwhelming, and having you step in and so greatly help close out my mother's residency was such a relief.
The thorough and detailed manner in which you went through so many items that I thought was junk, then sell them was amazing!
