Shauna Knows Your Stuff!

When Shauna came to assess the estate of my late Great Uncle, I was very impressed with her depth of knowledge. There team really knows their stuff – or I should say, my Great Uncle and Aunt’s stuff from the 1950s. They gave us a realistic view of what they could do and, I’m happy to say, they delivered. They handled everything with no hassles or headaches. It was great relief to be able to turn over everything to Shauna since we live 100 miles away. We signed some paperwork, handed them the keys and came back 2 weeks later to pick up the check. Thank you, Shauna for your professionalism and expertise.

Our office had less than a month to vacate an eight thousand square foot home that we had been working out of for the past sixteen years. Novotny Antiques conducted an estate sale for us at our Glendale home. We interviewed four prospective estate sale professionals and we decided upon Novotnys because of the knowledge and experience Shauna and her team had on the variety of antiques and quality items we were selling including silver, china, fiestaware, artwork, and antique furniture. We were very pleased and impressed with the considerable time and preparation Shauna put into our sale, which she staged and ran perfectly and she exceeded our high expectations. In addition, Shauna has continued to display and sell our quality unsold items in her shop. After more than thirty years of collecting and storing antiques we decided that we needed to sell our "treasures". Just the thought of sorting, cleaning and displaying the pieces as well as finding a way to market them was overwhelming. We had a tremendously positive experience with Novotny's when they handled our estate sale in San Marino at the end of February, Shauna Novotny was considerate, thoughtful, knowledgeable, honest, and efficient. Her team did exactly what they said they were going to do. Their team of six prepared and displayed the items throughout the house, the patio, and the garage in an incredibly organized manner. They were very savvy about pricing everything, from silverware, to paintings by obscure artists, to asian vases. They attracted more than 1000+ customers each day to the two-day sale, and they handled all the exchanges with courtesy, alertness, and when needed, firmness. They sold the vast majority of the items large and small, and we were pleased with the net proceeds. Moreover, I enjoyed the time I spent with Shauna and her team and I learned a lot from them.
