     Since 2004, we have proudly served the Boston/Metro West, Central Mass, Rhode Island, and Connecticut communities. As the area's premier estate sale company, we have run hundreds of moving and estate sales, nonprofit fundraising events each year, right here in New England.  Our sales span everything from antiques to modern and contemporary furniture, decor and furnishings, average homes to the largest estates. (Our largest sale had over 2,200 attendees!)

     Why is Consignworks different? Selling furniture, home furnishings, antiques and quality items IS our business--we know our markets and buyers as well as the items we sell.  Our roots are in antiques, furniture sales, and retail. We handle estates with antiques and collectibles as well as those with contemporary furnishings. Our own experienced, knowledgeable, and professional staff personally handle each estate sale. The professional staff of full-time and permanent part-time specialists have years of direct experience in a variety of areas, including antiques, furniture sales, appraisals,  public and charity fund-raising, retail and more, so you can be sure your items are properly identified, and your sale expertly managed. Our "bench" is deep with experience, and our sales are properly staffed, with 6 to 25 associates per sale, and with one or more cashiers as well as our own movers.  Employees are bonded, and we have complete and comprehensive insurance for general liability, E&O, worker's comp, theft, fire, damage and more. An insurance binder is always provided. 

     We design a custom online picture gallery of exceptional quality for each sale so buyers can easily view sale items and descriptions. We advertise your sale far and wide utilizing several aggregators as well as all sorts of social media. Our long history of running phenomenal estate sales has earned us a deep mailing list of buyers who will help to empty your home! We accept credit cards as well as cash which results in higher sales results, and our sell-through rates are typically 80-99% for each sale. Our references/testimonials are UNMATCHED, and we are highly recommended by top realtors, move managers, estate clients and buyers. 

     Our estate sale process is professional, and comprehensive, and completely transparent-from fully documented material inventories and price schedules, fully-staged, fully tagged sales (yes, we tag almost everything), donations and furniture pickups, clean-outs and more. Pricing is fully disclosed and fully documented for clients on a material inventory schedule. Post-sale, our client's receive their check within 10 days along with the material inventory schedule. No other company provides this level of detail and transparency. We also provide online estate sales for those clients that for a number of reasons, cannot, or do not want to conduct a traditional estate sale. 

We NEVER enhance sales by bringing in other items such as jewelry or memorabilia--we are here to sell YOUR items only. We DO NOT buy-out estates at the end of the sale. We will work with our clients to identify items for optional post-sales, donations or disposal. We are A+ BBB certified in both Central MA and the Greater Boston/Metro West area. Our associates are specialists in antiques, art, china, pottery and collectibles.  

As a local company, our staff are members of  various antiques, collectibles and civic organizations and active within non-profit auction and fund-raising events in Wellesley, Wayland and metro Boston. We partner with the finest area companies and auction houses to find the right market, before the sale and after.  Sometimes, estate sales do not find the right buyer for a special item, a work of art, or fine antique, and should never be liquidated for a quick sale. We will find the right buyer or channel for you, from auction houses, on-line marketplaces, high end consignment stores, specialty shops and dealers.

Did you know that Consignworks furnished two movie sets in 2010 (including Dreamworks!), was chosen by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to resell their museum store items, by the Spookyworld developer to run his mega estate sale? We were also selected to run the magnificent estate sale of the Nightingale Inn in Wenham/Beverly  with over 15,000 sq ft of furnishings. We were also selected to handle the estate of Daphne Farago of Little Compton, whose collections are featured in the Farago wings at the MFA and RISD, and whose collections of Americana, Contemporary Art, and Jewelry are documented in numerous catalogs and books? We have conducted sales for Curt Schilling, Ray Bourque and most recently, we were featured on Chronicle (WCVB Channel 5)!

After 51 years living in the same house, we decided it was time to move on. Fortunately, we learned about Consignworks from a friend. Debra visited and promised she would take care of everything, and she did, from selling expensive collector items to half-used cosmetics. Her crew spent days taking professional quality photographs (our stuff never looked so good!), posting on their website, tagging everything with a price, advertising, and running a multi-day on-site sale. After the sale, she arranged for anything that didn't sell to be removed, so we were able to leave an empty house for the next homeowner. We also can't say enough about how great Consignworks' team is. They work really hard, and helped us overcome the emotions of parting with memorable items for which we no longer had any use. When it is necessary to dispose of a valuable estate, Consignworks is beyond doubt the company to use.

If you are ever in need of dissolving a much beloved home full of furnishings, do not hesitate to contact Deb at Consignworks. For us, this was a very emotional event in parting with 42 years of memories and Deb and her team made it so much easier to handle. They are professional, comprehensive, honest and
efficient as well as caring and considerate of our treasures and the move itself.

We met with Deb pre-pandemic and made arrangements to get back together when the home was
ready to go on the market and were very happy with the plan. Who knew what would happen in a few short months and we thought that Deb was not going to be able to help us. Her words to me in May were – “I committed to help clean out the house and whether it’s Plan A, B or C, we will make it happen.” And, she did. Deb and her team found a way to keep everyone safe while moving through her newly crafted process of online estate sales. I’m sure it was not easy for her and her team to have to devise new ways of liquidating estates during this Covid time, but they worked tirelessly and respectfully to catalogue everything, stage it, and carefully remove it from the house. They put much time and effort into ensuring that everything was priced reasonably. Obviously their methodology worked as the sale was a huge success for both the buyers and us as sellers! Deb has many resources to help with specialty
items right through to cleaning out all remaining items from the home.

This liquidation was very special to us for another reason....this was a fundraiser with all proceeds going
to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Being a breast cancer survivor, it was our wish to donate
what were our heartfelt memories to a cause for the cure that could help others survive. Deb supported
us in advertising the cause on her website. All in all, it was a great experience working with Consignworks and Deb’s personalized service. We appreciated their kindness and are grateful for their generous donations to our fundraiser.

Debbie and her associates do a fantastic job. Debbie totally gets how emotional and stressful selling a home and its contents are on the owner. You won't find a more responsive person to work with. She was always easy to reach. Her appraised value of items prior to the sale were spot on and her photos of the items for sale were beautiful. My husband and I ended up selling much more than we thought we would. I was around during some of the pick up times and it was clear Debbie has a large number of repeat customers who follow her sales.
