He has attended hundreds of major antique and collectibles auctions and estate sales throughout the United States, and is a well-known collector of museum-quality American furniture and related collectibles. Mr. Hartt has appraised, purchased and sold thousands of items from auctions and estate sales and is widely respected by his peers and practitioners in the local Grosse Pointe and Detroit metro area and national auction and appraisal industry.
