Choosing a company to manage an estate sale after a loved one has passed or entering into assisted living is not an easy task for a family. We understand that estate liquidation is a matter which requires careful consideration of family members during a very stressful and often emotionally challenging time. The added responsibility of selling personal belongings, cleaning a home, and preparing the property for sale can often feel very overwhelming. GC5 Estate Services strives to make this process as stress free as possible for the family.

An estate sale is not just for when a loved one passes, we have helped liquidate items for people moving, downsizing, relocating, divorcing and more, whatever your reason to clear the contents or partial contents of a home, GC5 Estate Services is absolutely here to assist. We sell furniture, linens, collectibles, clothes, pots and pans, china, lawn and garden items, vehicles or whatever happens to be in the home and garage, we can liquidate. It certainly does not have to be an antique for you to have an estate sale!

I had John and Amanda help me liquidate my sisters belongings. There are just no adequate words to describe how painless they made this for me. It is such a terrible time for anyone who has lost a loved one and at least for me the sale itself is not nearly as important as the company treating her things with respect. It's the last physical thing I had of my sisters and they get that and get that they are representing the departed one as she is no longer here. They also have done this so much they know how to deal with difficult neighbors in a very professional manner. They are super organized and know how to stage things to make them appealing. I could not believe how fast they were able to set everything up and price it. I did NOTHING to prepare except get out the personal things and then I didn't even do that very well as Amanda found many personal things I had forgotten and set them all aside for me. In addition, I did not go through all the Christmas things or some boxes in the garage bc I was just emotionally and physically drained. Amanda took photos of all the stuff in the garage boxes and allowed us the opportunity to choose what we wanted. Most impressive of all was Amanda made each of my sisters kids a ziploc of Christmas ornaments as many were personalized and she knew one day they would predicate having them as grew up with those ornaments. I mean hat kid of person does that? Someone who CARES about people! I thank God every day I was steered in their direction. A very painful experience done professionally and with love. After going to GC5's sales as a buyer, for many years, I can say they are the fairest sellers around. There sales are always beautifully staged, and they even add lighting to dark spots. We had a second home that was the depository for all the furniture and much loved memorabilia I had inherited from my parents. When we decided to sell the biggest issue was what to do with it all? Neither I nor my children had room for 2500 square feet of everything. Amanda and John made it so simple. I followed their instructions, they answered my questions, and the results were superb. I have to add that that another local well known estate service also previewed the home and felt there was not enough there to merit their services.
