Cartwright Estate Liquidations, Inc. has conducted hundreds of estate, moving and garage sales in the Jackson, Mississippi area since 1993.  Sales have also been conducted in other areas of the state as well as Louisiana and Arkansas. 

Many sales are conducted for persons moving  to retirement homes or downsizing.  Most are entire household sales which include a wide variety of items -- Antique to Modern, ordinary to elaborate.  Something for everyone.

A packet of information is sent to propective clients including an information letter (how sales are set up and conducted), contracts and a list of references.  CEL acts an an agent representing the client, not the customer.  Items are priced at current fair market values.  Free estimates of sale net are available.  Our company works on a commission basis with no upfront fees to the seller.  Items are sold on-site.  

We adhere to strictly advertised hours of operation.  No one buys early.  No one on our staff buys anything from the sale until it opens. 

S ettlement is sent to the seller 10 - 14 days after the sale including a detailed listing of sold items.

When the sale is completed arrangements are made with other entities to dispose of furniture and/or collectibles or CEL may offer to buy out remains.  Useable non-collectible items are donated to a local church or charity and a tax receipt obtained for the seller.
