FEES
One of the first questions I'm asked about my estate sale or auction services is, "How much is it going to cost me?"
The answer is simple. We charge an all inclusive fee of *25% of the gross sales.
Our fee includes advertising in local papers, research, setup, labor, pricing, selling and clean up!
We do not have hidden fees.
*There are some sales that necessitate a higher commission because of several factors: extra labor requirements, value of items, cost of clean-up, etc.
The majority of sales are a 25% commission.
Best of all, there is no obligation or cost to get our proposal to conduct your sale.

85% of Estate Sales are now for the living! Most estate sales that we conduct are for people downsizing into a condo or apartment. You do not have to have antiques in order for us to conduct a sale for you.

My grandparents started Bayard Antique Village back in 1967. Quite a few of the antiques dealers in North Florida started their business endeavors with us at Bayard. Most folks refer to me as “Little Jimmy” I was always right beside my grandfather Jimmie Searcy, thus I am third generation in the business. My grandfather taught me to deal fairly and be honest with our customers. I am proud to say that I am conducting estate sales for the children, nephews, nieces and grandchildren of the people that my grandfather conducted sales for.
In 1995, I joined forces with Donna Poor, a second generation antiques dealer, her mother is Vee Gilmore. Vee owned Times Past Antiques at Bayard. Donna is also a licensed Realtor in the state of Florida. She works with one of the oldest real estate firms in Jacksonville, BUCK & BUCK, INC REALTORS.

YOU WILL BE PAID WITH VALID FUNDS IN THE FORM OF A SUNTRUST BANK CASHIERS CHECK. Along with your proceeds, you will be given a description of your items and the final selling price.
WE ARE LICENSED AND INSURED!
All leftover items will be removed, including all bags of garbage. We are the professionals that you can rely on!
