Who uses our services? Virtually everyone. From individuals to executors of Estates. Also, people who are moving to a retirement or nursing home, out of state, in with a relative, or to smaller quarters. In fact, anyone who needs to sell all or most of their home's contents.
What do we sell ? Anything that is legal and documented safe to be sold, except real estate.
What exactly do we do for you, the client? Our staff will be working in the home for several days preparing the site and items for sale. We have tables to display small items. We unload all cabinets, drawers and closets so that all items can be seen.
After displaying the items to be sold, we price every thing individually or in groups of items depending on the items. Pricing is based on our knowledge of the market and over 30 years of experience of evaluating and appraising personal property.. We also have a reference library and a network of individuals with expertise in specific areas.
Over the course of the sale we usually sell most everything. That is our goal - to sell every item for you at the sale. We accept cash and checks with proper ID. This helps you by selling most of your larger items.
How much does our service cost ? There is no up front cost !! We work on a percentage basis of the total sale .The fee is deducted from the money collected at the sale. Rarely , there may be a charge for specialized services or appraisals. No charges will ever be incurred without your written approval.
Is there a charge to see if I have enough to have a sale ? There is no charge. Call us for a free consultation.
Do we take consignments ? Due to the ever changing laws regarding consignments, we do not take consignment. We also pride ourselves for having no other outlet for sales that would compete with your sale, no stores, no early shopper friends. In other words, no conflict of interest. We are working for you and you alone.
What kind of sales do you do?
We do Estate sales (full or partial), Trust sales, Garage sales, Moving sales,Downsizing sales, small to medium commerical liquidations. In short, we handle any type sale you need.
