I start with a complimentary walk through evaluation of your items. I am dedicated to obtaining the maximum dollar value for all your items. I offer Estate Sale services that can also include arranging your higher end items for auction placement if needed.
We are able to find those hidden treasures, many thought to have no value at all. My staff is experienced and knowledgeable. Our extensive knowledge in the fields of Antiques, Collectibles and Contemporary Households assure you the best possible money for your possessions. We are committed to providing you with professional services to protect your interests and conduct a timely liquidation.
The sales are organized and conducted with professionalism. The staff are all very experienced in antiques, collectibles, and conducting sales--no "fill in people" used to be just a body there so you are guarenteed the best quality of service available!
We appraise, stage, clean, price and display items attractively to maximize sales. I do excellent advertising, on the internet, local newspapers, and outdoor signs (and to an email list of my private buyers).
We recognize our client’s needs for prompt service due to time constraints. My goal is to give you piece of mind. After the sale, if needed, I can refer clean out services and arrange for pick up of donations. I have customers who will leave a bid for after the sale if the items/furniture does not sell at item’s prices. NO Pre Sales. I never leave a client in need.I also have many charities on call for pick up to make donations, so your items will be out of the house, put to good use and you will receive a tax deduction. Or you may specify which charity.
I do NOT charge a minimum fee! – only a small set up fee and an agreed upon percentage 25-30%- is all I charge. Therefore, if YOU do well at your sale, then I do well- It is the only way for a liquidator to give you a fair deal. Minimums can cost you out of pocket costs! REFERENCES AVAILABLE.
I have over 40 years experience and study in this field. I previously owned 2 shops in Long Valley, N.J. and 1 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I have been offering estate services in Somerset County, Morris County and many MORE. Thank you for taking the time to view my page!

After interviewing about a dozen estate sale companies, I selected Phyllis Collins (Cranberry Row Estate Sales) to handle the sale of my mother’s estate in Bridgewater, NJ. Her estate sale experience and broad knowledge of antiques and collectibles was impressive and important to us. Additionally, I felt she displayed a strong sense of character and would be pleasant to work through such a difficult affair with. Our actual experience with her over the following 3 weeks far exceeded our wildest expectations.
Phyllis worked tirelessly, day and night, to organize the house into an absolute showplace of antiques. She ensured anything with collectible value was optimally displayed in good lighting upstairs, which meant dragging a lot of things up from the basement! She creatively staged different items using the furniture and wall space so they’d get noticed. It was clear that her past experience was going to be an asset for us.
Her experience with antiques also benefited us in her broad network of dealers and collectors that she reached out to personally by phone, flyers and Email to make sure they came to our sale. One day she handed out over 800 flyers, making a special trip to Lambertville & Auction Houses to ensure that we had a great turnout.
When Phyllis got done putting a long day in at the house, she’d go home to do on-line and reference books research to ensure she priced specialty items as high as possible and to research any and all items she is not familiar with which were few in number!. She also has access to special auction data available by subscription only. She priced things as aggressively as possible for the first day, dropping prices as needed to get things sold on the second day. Her breadth of knowledge of collectibles is very extensive, and her enthusiasm & passion for what she does is undying. Who better to sell our things than someone that truly loves them?!
Phyllis also surprised and amazed me with her jewelry related knowledge and skills. She was able to test our jewelry for gold content, clean and even repair several pieces, and offered her excellent gold scrapping service to us. We scrapped gold with her and received a large percentage higher than any other broker we had contacted to do so. At our sale, she made a lovely display of all the pieces in secure, enclosed cases, and ensured they were closely watched over during the sale.
Phyllis provided a hard working and pleasant staff to organize and price garage and basement items, and again her networking paid off in helping us sell a garage full of antique car parts, a hit and miss engine, and old custom tractor, all for top dollar. She committed sufficient staff to make sure all critical areas of the sale were watched over for security and assistance to customers.
Our sale was hugely successful, and generated four to five times what we expected to make. Many of our biggest buyers came from Phyllis’s own marketing. She also ran extra very detailed ads on the internet and in the paper that I believe helped us sell the more unusual items we had for top dollar. What few things remained after the sale she helped us sell via a mini “clearance” sale to dealers she knew.
I firmly believe we selected the best possible estate sale company for our sale, and would recommend Cranberry Row Estate Sales to anyone. Besides all the things I mentioned above, Phyllis was also very reliable, detail oriented and trustworthy. She clearly puts her heart and soul into her work, and we will always be grateful to her for what she did for us.
