Our company, Affordable Estate Liquidation Services, is expert and experienced in three primary aspects; we conduct estate sales, support the auctioning of estate items, and prepare appraisals for tax and inheritance purposes. Our experience from the sale of estate items has shown us that a properly conducted estate sale provides a greater return to the property owner. Similarly, our experience and our knowledge of Fair-Market-Value evaluations required by tax laws enable us to provide appraisals that satisfy our clients and the tax authorities.
Our estate sales are constructed to minimize inconvenience to the customer and maximize their financial returns. Prior to any sale, we ask the owner to remove or segregate items they desire to keep. We do everything else. There are no up-front costs or transportation costs (as in off site auctions). Conducting our sales, usually over a three day period, we sell everything in the house from valuable items to can goods (thousand items); very little is left at the end of the sale. Extra care is given to high value and specialty items to insure a proper return on their sale. At the discretion of the owner, items remaining at the end of the sale are donated to a local charity and the owner is provided an appraisal along with the charity’s tax certificate for use as an income tax deduction.

We came to Okaloosa County in 2004 from Ann Arbor, Michigan, where we operated an antiques business, conducted estate sales and auctions, and prepared numerous estate and insurance appraisals. The valuation expertise and estate sale technique we developed and refined in Ann Arbor has met with success here in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. Our unique sales method often sees customers returning each day of our three-day sales. In a few years, we have developed a large following and an extensive mailing list. Also, we provide appraisals for inheritance valuation, bankruptcy filings, and support for tax basis determination on rental condominium furnishings.
