Michele Borquez, the owner has been in the Retail / Antique business for over 25 years both as a buyer, seller and professional stager. Michele is also a senior member of ASEL (American Society of Estate Liquidators) and an appraiser registered with CAGA (Certified Appraiser Guild of America).
Michele mother Alice, own Auntie Em’s Antiques located in Tehachapi and open 7 days a week which allows Michele to place antiques for consignment whenever she needs it. Michele also purchased a 1910 home and turned it into the Go2Girlz Antique boutique in Tehachapi ( located one block from the main downtown area and next door to Jakes Steak house ) . Michele’s daughter who is also a certified appraiser runs this beautiful downtown store filled with unique one of a kind antiques and locally made crafts . WE ARE 3 GENERATIONS STRONG
Michele is obsessed with helping her clients with estate sales and bringing in the largest amount of buyers as possible. One of her biggest pet peeves are companies who don't offer a ton of pictures on their estate sales. Pictures are the key to grabbing buyers interest and getting them to come to your sale. If you don't go out of your way to take a lot of pictures many people wont think its a great sale ! We offer a min of 100 pictures PER estate sale and walk through videos on large properties.

In 2017 Go2Girlz purchased an amazing location in the heart of the Tehachapi Mountains. A 100 year old home turned into a boutique (open to the public 4 days a week) with a fenced english garden that clients can stroll through and shop . This is where our classy consignments are placed .
This property and our warehouse located down the street allows us to HELP families who are too late to have a sale in their homes, people who just need a couple items on consignment and most importantly it allows us to pull any items of worth after your estate sale has been completed and continue to sell them in one of our locations instead of donating everything. Many of our competitors do not want this extra work but we DO !
What makes Go2Girlz so different than others in her industry is not only our brick and mortar locations it’s that Michele began as a personal assistant in Los Angeles for well to do aging clients. That’s where her love of helping people and retail came together. Michele’s clients started aging, moving into assisted living and sometimes even dying which threw her into a whole new career.
It came together so easily for her when one day her client called a friend and said “Michele is my Go to Girl, she can take care of anything for you “. That’s how the name Go2Girlz was born and the concept of selling off her clients treasures to help them have additional funding for moving, going into assisted living and even a unexpected death or divorce can cause full home estate sales and liquidation.
Go2Girlz is a company which offers so much to help clients and their family transition smoothly into whatever their situation may be. Michele understands how difficult it can be to move a parent into assisted living, sell off their items, clean their home, get it ready for sale or rental all while a family member maintains a full time job or is traveling from out of state.
