Sale Description:
We are liquidating the home of a retired hydrolics engineer who has the distinction of 'inventing' the retractable landing gear for the 747 (at least that's what we hear) so he has a garage full of tools, and gadgets. You will see some of the pics here.
Also, since this home sits on a golf course, there are 2 high end mowers for creating a golf course grade lawn for practicing your golf swing. There is also a hydrolic crane, almost new drill press, pressure washer (commerical grade), welding set (commercial grade) and other great tools for you to go through.
The home has rugs, tables, cabinets, dishes, an almost new Whirlpool washer dryer (see pic) and more.
There are also two collectible cars for sale. We will be able to sell these cars by appointment prior to the sale. You simply need to make arrangements after August 2nd to view and purchase. We will not be selling other items prior to the sale. If the cars are not sold prior to the sale on August 11th, they will be available during the sale.
Info on the cars:
1967 Silver Shadow I Rolls Royce with rag top. Records. Automatic Transmission. Always garaged. Was running when garaged in 1995 - the last time driven. A sweat equity gem.
1973 Citroen SM - Records. Always garaged. Was running fine when last driven and garaged in 1995. It has the Americanized/street-legal headlights. The original French version has additional fog lights plus the headlights turn with the steering wheel,so you can see where you're going in turns. American laws require their removal - go figure! Another sweat equity gem.
We will have this sale during the huge garage sale day as it's the only time people can enter without permission. As a result, we can't put out a sign up sheet or even signs directing you to our sale!
If we do sell the vehicles prior to the sale date of August 11th we will post an update here so you don't make a trip for them, and then they aren't there.
We are selling the cars (potentially) prior to the sale given the restrictions of where they currently sit and the traffic that will happen as a result of this rare sale. More than likely they would have to be removed via trailer as they have not been running for more than 15 years. Titles are clear. For more information on any of this, please email us.
