Old Beautiful Homes
The people that own this home also owned a grocery store and wholesale meat market in downtown Fort Worth. The location of the store is where the Fort Worth Convention Center now sits. They sold the land to city in 1967 and alot of what is in the house has come from their store.
This is an estate that we are liquidating that is close to TCU. . We are selling everything including a 1991 Cadillac with only 39,168 miles on it. Has only been driven around the block since 1993 and the son did that every Sat.
They have an old Soda Fountain which seats 4 that looks great and is straight out of their store downtown. The store closed around 1967 so does that tell you how old it might be. We have the history of it and we know that is was orginally put into the store in 1932.
There are some items that were sold in there store that still has the orginal price tags on them.
They have some lamps truly unbelievable lamps. Must see to be believed. We have some beautiful glass top tables and so much more.
There is some womans eveningware that still has tags on the dresses and they are vintage 1960's and 70's. They are beautiful dresses along with hand bags and coats.
There is some old glassware in the home that service stations gave out when you filled up. A couple of them are still in the original boxes with the company logo. (GULF) We have one whole room with nothing but Cut Glass Ware. Eight tables of the stuff.
