Payment is by cash (preferred) or local check with proper identification. All sales final and all items sold as is. We try our best to conduct an organized, reasonably priced sale that is mutually satisfactory to you, our customers, as well as the family (our neighbors!) we represent. Please respect the contents of the home and do not remove any permanent fixtures, or undo packaging. This is a very clean home with plenty of space, which should require no waiting in line. We do not accept street numbers. We do not issue numbers unless it becomes necessary for our customers' comfort and safety. We hope you will find our prices so reasonable that you won't hesitate to make your purchases on day one of the sale; otherwise, you can return on day two and find most items reduced to half price. Thank you in advance for coming to our sale and observing common courtesy.
Sale Description:
This is a beautiful home, clean as a whistle, with excellent window lighting and spacious rooms that are filled with quality items! You won't want to miss the marvelous (and very substantial--BIG muscles required!) statuary in the beautiful backyard
In the basement, you'll find some really neat fifties retro chairs, bar stools, and furnishings including a Thaden-Jordan buffet and hutch, two chairs, table w/formica top, holiday items including a pretty white tree, a vintage Ironrite mangle with chair, a Franklin cedar chest, golf items (including Callaway Big Bertha), some great Guardian Ware including a big pressure cooker, etc.
Most other items will be on the main floor, including:
- a nice dining set
- kitchen table and chairs
- excellent coffee tables and accent tables (of particular note is a wonderful large rectangular coffee table with marble at both ends)
- small secretary
- small buffet
- real & faux plants
- exquisite vintage linens
- LOTS of glassware and china including a big Bavaria china set, and a small vintage Bavaria teaset; Crystal, including Orrefor and Waterford; several Lenox pieces; a variety of art glass and vintage glassware, etc.
- a couple of 1981 Budweiser steins, and now we've found nearly TWO CASES of mint Budweiser steins from 1985 (A & B series) and 1998

Please note also that there is a Saarinen-style tulip table and chairs by Burke, Inc. available, but they are off-site at the daughter's home a couple of blocks away.
