Sale Description:
***IMPORTANT NOTICE --THIS SALE HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED TO NOV. 27, 28, AND 29TH ******** UPDATED IMAGES HAVE BEEN ADDED 11-23-09 ****Unbelievable Dearborn Heights Estate Sale
This is a very unique sale in that nearly all of the items are highly collectible. The occupant was an avid collector and world traveler. The amount of items and researching of some of the more obscure items has taken a little longer than expected, however, we believe that you will find it well worth your while.
The estate's contents include everything from a huge watch and clock collection to massive amounts of pottery/glass/porcelain to some of the most unbelievable art pieces we have seen to date! It also includes my personal favorite category: "The Strange and Bizarre." Sure to please and relatively close to everyone; this is one of our infrequent but none the less, "don't miss," sales (we rarely print this and if you see it then we really mean it!)
PORCELAIN: Wedgewood, Minton, Pewabic, Johnson Bros., just to name a few.
GLASS: Depression, elegant Depression (Cambridge, Heisey, Duncan-Miller, Fostoria,) Murano art glass, Blenco, and much more!!
BOOKS: Nice selection of "odd titled," books. Mostly hard-cover, many antique, wide topic selection.
CLOCKS / WATCHES: Over 70 watches! Names like Rolex, Omega, Breitling, and more (note we have to verify authenticity of watches.) Also, numerous antique clocks, both mantel and wall.
ART: Large amount of real art, not that decorator imitation stuff you see all of the time!! Prints, oils, lithos, and watercolors. Many of these still need to be researched at the time of this writing.
FURNITURE: gorgeous Chippendale china cabinet, other beautiful pieces as well.
CLOTHING: Nice selection of men's clothing, good amount of vintage items.OTHER: WWII Nazi "SS" dagger, antique Westpoint hat, Brooks leather items, and more!!
This ad will be updated with many, many, more images as soon as they become available. Again, our sincerest apologies to any of you who did not get the date change in time. We do, however, believe this to be a grade A+ sale, and definitely need the extra setup time. Thank you for your patience and understanding - John
