Billy and Sadie Newell were collectors of fine and unusual antiques. Billy was especially interested in beautiful carved wooden items and decorative iron work. Sadie loved beautiful silver and both English and French Antiques which she purchased on buying trips to Europe for her shop Kennedy-Sims Antiques. She also had a great love for primitive and less formal objects of interest. W.S. Newell Inc., Billy and Sadie along with their two sons built a wonderful road building business. W.S.
