It is the responsibility of the prospective bidders to inspect the goods. All condition reports, measurements, opinion of values, age and quality are offered by the Gallery but are not guaranteed. Neither the auction house, nor the consignor is responsible for the accuracy of printed or verbal descriptions or its authenticity. Gold, silver & diamonds are guaranteed. We do not guarantee or Warranty clocks or lighting fixtures. We are not responsible for the wiring of lighting fixtures. All weights and measurements are approximate. Artist's names, signatures do not carry warranty & are not guaranteed unless certificate of authenticity accompanies lot or provenance is provided.

A 20% buyer's premium is added to the purchase price of every item sold at the auction gallery. Purchaser must pay 8.625 New York state sales taxes on total purchase price, including buyer's premium unless appropriate sales tax exemption form is filed before auction. Internet buyers will pay 23% buyers premium & are not responsible for sales tax unless they are NY State residents. Internet buyers that pick up at gallery are responsible for NY sales tax.Paypal is required as payment for international bidders .

Lots may have reserves or minimum selling prices. This confidential figure is set by the consignor and Echoes Antiques & Auction Gallery, Inc. will exercise all reserve bids. The record of sale kept by the auction house is final in any dispute. Buyer takes responsibility of the property as soon as the item gets 'sold on the block'. In the event of a dispute we reserve the right to re-offer an item, the right to withdraw any item(s) from the auction at any given time & the right to reject any bid, as well as the right to refuse to acknowledge any bidder.

Payment is due at the end of each sale. We accept cash, checks, PayPal, Traveler's checks, debit cards & major credit cards excluding American express. Echoes Antiques & Auction Gallery, Inc. reserves the right to hold property until check clears. A $30 fee will be assessed for all returned checks. If a check fails to clear after a second deposit, the purchaser will be held responsible for any and all fees incurred until we have collected good funds, including storage charges. Bad checks, fraudulent credit cards of purchases will be reported to the police and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Purchasers who fail to pay in a timely fashion will face immediate disbarment from bidding on all internet bidding sites and will be reported to other galleries. Buyer's who fail to pay will be liable for any lost fees the gallery may incur.

All invoices for merchandise purchased on internet MUST BE PAID FOR WITHIN (3) DAYS. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS AFTER THAT DATE. All legal execution or prosecution will be in accordance with New York law and will be prosecuted in the state of New York.

Our shipping department (3 Little Men)handles all pickup and shipping arrangements.If you would like a quote prior to the sale please contact them at (908-638-3501)or at echoeshipping@gmail.com. For additional shippers please contact us at 516-764-1858.Due to the volume of requests we will get back to you within 2 hours maximum.If you require express shipping or have custom packaging requests please contact our shipping department at the completion of sale at echoeshipping@gmail.com .Post sale determination of shipping costs does not constitute grounds for cancellation of any purchase made at auction. Purchasers are advised that large and fragile items can be expensive to ship and should request shipping quote before bidding.
We will move all sale items into our off-site shipping facility located in New Jersey within (3)of the completion of our sale.
You will be contacted with several shipping options to choose from as long as your invoice with the gallery has been paid.

If your invoice has not been resolved within 7 days you will be charged a $5 per lot per day storage and handling fee
