Mr Herbert was an avid antique collector and for some years a dealers and glass grinder. Ine the sale will be two Asa Munger Clocks are made in Auburn, NY. One has carved columns, both are 8 day with brass dials, second dials, and good readable labels. There is a very rare clock made in Marcellus by Phillip Smith. It is an full column, 8 day # 142, with reverse painting on lower door, and has a good label. The Staffordshire pitcher is "Lucerne". The note inside the "Rebecca at the well " teapot states it was made in Syracuse. I am checking that.
