Sign Up Sheets

This system is one where a list is started at the door to the sale and as people come up they can sign their names to a list for entry to the sale.  This also is open to abuse.  Someone could signup several people to the list who have not actually been there themselves.  Again, some companies allow these lists and will honor them.  You should know the policy of the company holding the sale.
