We will do our best to keep this page up-to-date with the latest features released onto EstateSales.NET. Sometimes these changes only affect our admin pages which only companies can see. If you have any comments (good or bad), please post them above using our feedback form.

We just released the new design of the web site. There aren't many new features that haven't been mentioned below. We've increased the width of this new design while still accomodating people with smaller screen resolutions with an alternate view. The e-mail sign up has been moved to the top to make sure people see it. We'd love to know what you think of this new design.

We sent out about 100 e-mails to our first 100 customers and we received about 35 replies back. About 33 of them were positive. We know we can't please everyone, but that is probably the most positive response we've had to any of the changes we've made over the years. • If there are very few companies listed in an area, we now show a link to cities nearby that have companies as well

• Added better URL handling for cities that are typed in by hand. For example, if EstateSales.NET/estate-sales/TN/Cordova.aspx is typed in, the system will automatically redirect to the correct city that handles Cordova sales (Memphis).

• Updated sitemap pages so they are consistent with their capitalization

• Updated our search engine to be more robust. Also added functionality to remove recently unpublished and deleted sales from the search results.

• Updated our sale editor in the admin site. Much more versatile and produces better HTML now.

• Added a new form to the company listing page so that a person looking for an estate sale company can easily contact all of them in their area at one time.

• Added filtering to list of sales page. It keeps up with your settings, so if you don't want to see certain types of sales (like Auctions or Store Sales), you can uncheck those and not have to view them when looking at the list.

• Added Comcast Feedback Loop to process "This is Spam" reports from Comcast customers (comcast.net)
• Added Microsoft Feedback Loop to process "This is Spam" reports from Microsoft customers (hotmail.com, msn.com, live.com, etc)
• Added Feedback Loop for United Online, Inc companies (juno.com, netzero.com, and bluelight customers)

Well, we finally did it! We've updated the web site with the latest and greatest. We'd like to thank all of you that made suggestions. We've taken some ideas we had and put that together with what we've heard people asking for and made this site based on it.

Take a few minutes to look around and see what's new. We've outlined a few of the changes in a list here. Read through the list and then read a little bit about the history of EstateSales.NET.

• Cleaner, Simpler Design
• Sales are easier to find (new search for city options help with cities that are smaller and not part of a metro area)
• Companies are easier to find as well for the same reason above as the sales
• Subscribers now have a more prominent link to see how to change their options (previously it was a very small link on the bottom of the site)
• New Flash Map that makes the smaller New England states easier to click on and find (if you have Flash 8 or higher)
• URLs in the site are now a little more friendly and easier to type directly if desired (http://www.EstateSales.NET/estate-sales/TN.aspx vs http://www.estatesales.net/estate-sales/state.aspx?State=TN&FullName=Tennessee)
• Day of week is now displayed in lots of different places so you don't have to look at a calendar
• New subscriber process has been greatly improved
• Unsubscribe process has been made much easier (even though we don't want people to unsubscribe...) :)

• We increased capacity by moving from one server to multiple servers hosted at Rackspace

• Name of company changed from EstateSales.NET to Vintage Software, LLC in order to make more sense when we added other web sites that were in the works.

• Subscriber notifications are significantly updated
• Subscribers can now choose when to get notified about upcoming sales

• A new design is released which immediately makes it easier to sign up for e-mail notifications

• The first admin section debuts so that companies can now list and edit their own sales

• The first version of EstateSales.NET is released
