We are excited to present to you the lovely estate of George and Thelma Ledbetter. The Ledbetters were married in 1940 and moved into their lifetime home in 1949. Mr. Ledbetter passed away in the mid 90s, and Mrs. Ledbetter passed away last fall at the age of 94. The couple was a staple of the community and beloved by all who knew them. In the 50s, the Ledbetters got their start in the dairy business on a rented farm. In 10 years, they had grown to over 200 dairy cows and their own farm. Throughout the years, they owned 3 separate dairies in the surrounding areas. Before getting into the dairy business, Mr. Ledbetter was in the US Navy and served our country in World War II. He collected treasures from around the world during his time in the service and brought back home after the war. In the 1970s the Ledbetters sold their dairy business and traveled the world. They traveled to Egypt, Jerusalem, Lebanon, and many other countries and cities around the globe, bringing back many treasures with them. Their estate is filled with an assortment of antiques like no other. You do not want to miss out on this one! Pre bidding is now open.
