CLAREMONT ESTATE SALE

  We have another wonderful "time capsule" sale for you in a cute 50s-60s Claremont ranch house! It will be on the market soon, and we have realtor card available for interested parties (we answer no real estate questions ourselves).

  Featured items are many, as the family (from pioneer Pennsylvania Dutch country) has kept generations of treasures and added to them over the decades! They collected Native American rugs/blankets, baskets and jewelry- we are selling all items that family members decided not to keep, which are in great condition (see photos).

  We have a delightful Marshall & Wendell baby grand piano; Chippendale style mahogany dining set with 6 chairs; secretary, china cabinet and server, same vintage; sweet small tea cart; two sets of silverplated coffee/tea sets; vintage mahogany record cabinet; mahogany drum table; two-tier long, low coffee table; antique clocks; several very cool retro lamps from the 60s and 70s (three pairs and several single oversized glass & pottery ones); cute kitchen wares (with lots of useful and kitschy items); cute linens; little league and scout uniforms (along with several mitts and bats); nice small selection of Asian items (lamp, wood block print, accent pieces); vintage costume jewelry; large selection of candlewick glass; 50s Bauer ware; china and glassware; two nice old rocking chairs and 20s wing chair with claw feet; very stylish low Mid Mod chest and matching bedside stands; 50s maple high chest; full size antique acorn finial bed; Empire antique chest; nice mid 1800s walnut side table and maple two-drawer table; good basic walnut desk from the 40s; cool old Remington typewriter; several book shelves, both upstairs and down (the family patriarch was a pastor and professor at the Claremont School of Theology, and had an extensive library); assorted antique and vintage wall art; books galore; record collection, good stereo system with nice pair of wood encased speakers; cute formica table with round diner style base; set of four bistro chairs; six adorable cream colored plank seat chairs with old paint in great shape; ephemera; tools; a few old farm implements and pottery- from the old homestead; cute old wooden golf club set; croquet and badmitton sets; small selection of vintage Christmas; sewing machine in cute cabinet and assorted notions; ladies' vintage hats; tools and garage items; large selection of 60s and 70s toys (featuring an Ideal "Astro Base" space station in its original box (box has issues, but the station and vehicle are FAB!); classic old 50s red vinyl recliner; a few cool old trunks; cute 50s knotty pine cabinet; potted plants; way too much to list!

  Hours are Friday and Saturday, Dec.15 &16th- from 8:00-3:00  BOTH DAYS; half price begins at noon on Saturday. As usual, we move NOTHING- all bulky or heavy items must be transferred by buyers, with whatever help or tools needed for save maneuvering provided by purchaser. We have way too many books to empty the shelves- and would truly appreciate buyers taking any sold shelves Saturday afternoon if possible!

  Items NOT for sale: washer, dryer, upright vacuum, fridge and two twin beds that we have displayed the linens on. They stay with the house for the family's use before it is put on the market.
