This week we are having a sale in Huntington Beach! The gentleman was a life-time collector and garage and estate sale hunter. 5 years ago we did a sale in several rooms of the house while people still lived there. They are gone and this week we are doing the remaining bedrooms, the kitchen, storage area and the garage which was packed from floor to ceiling full of his collections....
First of all, a the house is beautifully, sorted and organized! I do a great job organizing a sale but this one is amazing! There are racks and racks-thousands of items put in boxes and labeled by catagory. Household, collectibles, dinnerware, electrical, jewelry, purses, vintage and modern linens and Soooo much that I haven't looked at it all. A retro metal Kitchen breakfast nook table and a metal patio table with 6 chairs. A nice old antique Pharmacy cabinet. Several vintage dressers and shabby pieces of bedroom furniture. A huge Mediterranean style bar/hutch with a built-in stereo and turn-table from the late 60s-early 70s. Lighting and several other small tables and stands and things that I'm sure I have forgotten to include.
One entire room we have labeled "The Tool Corral". When the family went through the garage they sorted and categorized everything and put it in an empty bedroom. There are hundreds(or more) tools from old to new-vintage power tools and hand tools,

The family is planning on remodeling the home so the cabinetry and fixtures will almost all be for sale. There is lots of glassware, pottery, and the usual knick-knacks that you find around a home. Some silver plate including flatware. Then all the usual kitchen stuff. Most of this is 60s-70sish stuff. What you need to set up household. Some ambulatory equipment.
Fun part! There is a nice clock collection. New and old, several antique wall clocks and 2 grandfather clocks that appear to be running. Antique clock pieces and parts There are Books, office supplies! A small nautical and doll collection with some vintage dolls and original doll clothes including a Patti Playpal. There is some ladies clothing belts, Shoes, purses, etc. and some children's clothing. A nice selection of luggage. Guys stuff like knives and things..
YES, there is jewelry. I am combining a very large amount of jewelry from another estate- a lady not interested in a sale but needing to sell the inherited things the family doesn't want. In fact 6 boxes! From fine to fun. I have not yet finished going through it all but have seen some very nice pieces-vintage and modern-both men's and women's jewelry. Native American, and other artisan sterling. Some gold but loads of costume priced to sell. There are several bags of broken and mismatched for you crafters. A super respectable collection!
The garage. Family has it pretty organized and moved in to various other parts of the house, at this juncture but more tools and various plumbing, electrical and old car parts. Dryer and some camping equipment. There is a backyard that has a several other Patio things and garden decor! Actually, a respectable amount of garden kitsch like birdbaths and animals.
