This Belmont Heights, 2 story "Flash from the Past" sale is definitely the one for you if you like old, original and lots of it! The entire house is like stepping into a time warp, including the wallpaper! Most of the newer items are from the 50's and 60's!!
This great house belonged to longtime, respected minister, Milton Gabrialson, his wife and daughter of Bayshore church, which he officiated from 1932 until 1972, then continued on as "Pastor emmeritus" and he and family remained very involved until his passing.
Tons of furniture of all styles, from Victorian through 1960's, with some mid century. One of the many offerings are vintage salt & pepper shakers, to the tune of about 300 sets! Some in the original boxes and all are old. One room is filled with vintage audio/visual, mostly from the 50's & 60's. Lots of vintage vacuum tubes. Huge amount of vintage and antique ephemera, with postcards, tons of snapshots, booklets, pamphlets, music books, folk dance memorabilia, roadmaps, religious items, Asian collection and many more interesting subjects. Lots of vintage clothing, hats, gloves, purses. Vintage costumes from around the world, used in professional folk dancing in the 50's & 60's. Also antique clothing and accessories, some pre-Victorian into early 1900's. Vintage sewing and sewing machines, including a Singer Featherweight. Huge collection of small figurines, including a large collection of horses and elephants. Lots of vintage & antique books. Tons of vintage & antique jewelry, both costume and fine. Nice Baldwin Aerosonic spinet piano. The dining room and kitchen are packed with mostly vintage & antique. Some newer kitchen items as well. Lots of nice china and dinnerware, including large set of Vernon Kilns "Mayflower". Vintage Blue Willow, Havilland, teacups. Lots of vintage & antique glass. Duncan Phyfe dining set. Chandelier. Beautiful 1940's china/buffet. Lots of smaller curio cabinets. Vintage & antique lamps. One room filled with LP's, 45's, 78's and a great Nascar memorabilia collection.
