Eclectic Great Sale..Chinese, Asian, Western, vintage clothing etc.

We are back with a very eclectic fun collectors sale in San Gabriel. This is the estate of a long time industry artist, Paul Showalter, adept at many different artistic endeavors over the years, from illustrating and designing of Rose Parade floats for Dole and others through Fiesta Floats, illustrations of western themed art, actively creating abstract fine art, and creating artwork for MGM movie posters.                                                         This wonderful estate has examples of his many travels and interests, with a huge collection of vintage movie posters he worked on, several original Rose Parade Float paintings, western art originals, fine abstract artwork, all produced by Paul Showalter.                    On top of all his artwork, Mr Showalter was an avid collector of many things. Therefore, we have a huge collection of original Chinese scrollwork ( they are all numbered in the title of the photo), Asian collectibles, Japanese and Chinese woodblocks, western collectibles and primitives, vintage western and other vintage clothing, ties, a collection of pop up books, vintage hats and linens, reverse painted chinese art, nice collection of vintage lunch boxes, lanterns, toys, Tonka, some midcentury  pottery, aircraft and mechanical gizmos, and much much more!                                             Take time to check out all the photos and descriptions,  and come on by for a very fun and unique sale.
