Cash or pre-approved check.

All items will be discounted 20% on the second day and 50% (for most items) on third day, and we will take additional offers after noon on the third day.

We will include a Silent Auction on selected items, ending at 5 p.m. Saturday. Some of the Silent Auction items may be in the list and photos below.

Furniture items being used for display may need to be picked up at the end of the sale. Please ask, though. If we can release furniture to you as soon as you buy it, we will do so. We will especially make an effort to do so if you have traveled a longer distance to come to the sale.

No refunds. ALL SALES FINAL. All items are sold as is, where is. If you are concerned about an item working properly, ask to test it BEFORE you buy! Please.

While we try out best to accurately describe which items are being sold, including the photos, we reserve the right to remove any item from the sale, without advanced notice.

**We have put new items out since the beginning of the sale, so the house is still pretty full! And most items will be 50% off!

A family with several children is downsizing, selling off many quality household and  family items, as well as a lot of excellent collectibles, some antiques, and hundred of books. As this is a home-schooling family, there are a lot of excellent texts and other items related to children's education.

We have a very full house. The following is only a partial description. I will do a short version, followed by a detailed version):

Furniture -- mixture of antique, vintage and new, lots of tables, chairs, dressers.

Kitchen -- most of the normal estate sale things, plus a lot of vintage kitchen gadgets, nice glassware, graniteware.

Clothing -- both children and adult, including overcoats and other winter ware, some great vintage and sports-related, even some high-end dresses.

Toys -- we had an entire room and had to overflow into another! Some for play, others for collectors. Even doll hourses and a huge rocking horse.

Electronics -- still working through the details, but have three boxes of various items.

Artwork -- lots of hanging pieces, some original by local artists.

Misc antiques and collectibles -- all over the house! Some parts of series and well known (Painted Ponies), other more obscure.

Jewelry -- literally hundred of pieces, many for $1, others for considerably more! Costume, sterling, a few antique.

Books -- Around 1,500 of them, all prices, types and most in good or excellent condition. Lots for homeschoolers, specifically.

Bedding and linens -- not a huge amount, but a nice variety.

Sewing -- a machine in cabinet, plus notions and even some cloth by the yard.

We will also have for sale outstanding meal bars, energy bars and sugar free (!!!) energy drinks. All are gluten free.

Furniture -- antique (possibly colonial) drop leaf table; 2 vintage 3-drawer dressers; small Ethan Allen hutch; 2 sudbury book cases; floor lamps (1 vintage); entertainment center; Butcher Block table (silent auction item); other book cases; 3 recliners; dark wood dining room table; pair of Drexel end tables and matching low-boy dresser; metal shelves; vintage chairs (2 sets of 4 each); several smaller tables; wooden desk;.two newer dressers, as is.

Kitchen -- set of Corelleware dishes; vintage mixer with attachments; vintage or antique rolling pins, whisk, wooden spoons, other preparation and serving pieces; enamelware pots, pans, spoons, tray, coffee pot (no lid), loaf pan; vintage and whimsical coffee sets; some Pyrex; toaster; coffee maker; many other kitchen items.

Children's Clothing -- some clothes, boys up to size 6, girls up to size 8, a few Teens; brands include Gymboree, Van Heusen, Hurley; Rothschild girl's coat; we just uncovered several nice, even unused, Carters and similar girls, 3-9 mos; also snow pants; several  halloween costumes.

Women's Clothing -- 3 Carmen Marc Valvo evening dresses (heavily beaded ivory or pink, size 8 or 10, never worn); formal dresses by Water Signs (size 5/6, mint), Taboo (small, red), Linda Bernell (size 5, black) and others; leather jackets; vintage wool-blend coats and ski pants; other jackets; many other clothes (inc. J. Crew, Sandro, Anage), various sizes.

Men's Clothing -- several vintage wool-blend overcoats; leather coats; vintage suits; Columbia PFG shirts; Starter Yankees jacket; Starter Avalanche jacket (old style, will be a Silent Auction item); U.S. Navy peacoat, c. 1970 (Silent Auction item); hiking boots, high-top basketball shoes; various other items. Most of these are M to L in size.

Toys -- These take up an entire room! Fisher Price Little People house, bus, mini van, carousel & merry-go-ground; older Fisher Price Little People playground, houseboat; older Fisher Price range; many Barbie and related, some with clothes; Duplos; Melissa and Doug wooden toys; various dolls and stuffed animals (over 150 Barbie and similar, plus some vintage, including Raggedy Ann); Better Blocks (2 sets, Lego compatible); Big Jim Sports Camper (vintage); Porcelain head dolls, inc. Shirley Temple (not vintage); Breyer and Breyer-Reeves horses; games (not all with boxes, but with all pieces) -- Password (several older versions); Stratego Republicans vs. Democrats; History Channel Bible DVD game (sealed); jig saw puzzles (inc. 2 different Lost, Brooklyn Bridge [sealed]); many others, both for play and for collecting!

Other Children's -- Monneret plastic child's desk with Lego building surface; very large wooden rocking horse; vintage wooden doll house; 60s metal doll house; Snoopy Sno-Cone maker; 

Electronics -- Rock Band set for Wii; several phones and chargers; computer monitor; three boxes still to go through.

Artwork -- original artwork including several pieces signed by local artists. Also vintage (or older!) sea lion carving, probably Inuit (Silent Auction item).

Misc. Antiques and Vintage -- antique spinning wheel; hand plow; oil lamps; Carnival glass bowls, tumblers, pitcher; Bohemian lead crystal stemware set c. 1955; kraut cutter board; Dormeyer electric mixer; Boy Scouts charcoal grill; dozens of other items!

Misc. Collectibles -- various collectors plates and sets; 5 Painted Ponies (3 with boxes in good shape).

Jewelry -- Hundreds of pieces, including dozens that are high-quality costume or sterling pieces. Two of these will be in our Silent Auction (a Native American turquoise and silver oversized ring, and a Latin American sterling and enamel panel bracelet). Makers include Monet, Napier, Trifari and others. Some pieces are marked Italy, West Germany, Japan, etc. Many more cheap pieces ($5 and under). Turned out most of the 14K is actually 14K filled.

Books -- over 650 books (more than we thought at first) that have been listed on Amazon, most of them priced to under-sell books of equal quality on line. They start at $5. PLUS, over 800 books priced $5 and below, including many novels, children's,and inspirational titles. AND the many educational books which were used for home-schooling.

Bedding -- two 6-piece bedspread/pillow sets, one king size and one queen. Also many sheets, quilts, and blankets for twin and queen. Some are vintage.

Sewing -- cabinet sewing machine; fabric by the yard (about 30 pieces); many notions and smaller implements.
