FOR OUR SHOPPERS:
*Our clients reserve the right to remove items prior to the sale, however, we do make every effort to update our pictures. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
*Items priced over $100, may be available for presale on a limited basis with a 15% Buyers Premium. Contact us to discuss.
*Masks are no longer mandatory in this county, however they are preferred. We will continue to provide hand sanitizer and limit the number of people in the home at one time to provide space for social distancing. We ask that you respect others and maintain the social distance suggestion of 6ft between you/your group and others and their group.
*Sale opens 9AM Friday 1/28/22 . Open to the public. No sign up for numbers. NO PUBLIC RESTROOM.
*Because our homes are filled with goods we ask that no large purses, bags, backpacks or strollers are brought into the sale. If you would like to bring your own shopping bag, we will check it on entering and exiting.
*We accept Cash, ApplePay, Credit and Debit. (Credit over $10 Visa, MC, Discover and Amex)
*All sales are final and merchandise is sold "AS IS" "WHERE IS" with No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges. If you would like to purchase an item that you see in our photos here are the purchase options:
1) You may contact us for presale if you believe the item to be $100 or more.
2) Go straight to the sale during sale hours.
Although, we do our best to provide some pricing prior and during the sale, our first priority is prepping the sale completely and servicing customers that are on site first. Due to busy activities prepping and running sales, we are sometimes unable to provide pricing and return calls, emails, texts during the sale. If you are interested in a price or an item at the sale, it is best to come directly to the sale.
*The Moving and Loading of Items/Furniture purchased are ALWAYS the Buyers Responsibility. There are NO REFUNDS, so please make sure you can make arrangements for loading of your items prior to purchase. Please bring your own supplies; wrap, boxes, bags, muscle, blankets and rope as needed. We do our best to provide wrap, boxes and bags however, in light of leaving a better environment for future generations, our family has stopped using plastic bags and that will carry over into our business.
*All purchased merchandise must be removed from the property by the close of the sale unless other arrangements have been made with the Business Owner, in writing. The majority of the time we are under strict contract to vacate the property as it has usually already been sold, and there are closing activities that need to take place with the real estate.
*You are entering all our sales and properties at your own risk, The Great Estate is not responsible for any accidents, liabilities, or claims and we reserve the right to limit entry when deemed necessary.
*Children are always welcome but must be supervised at all times.
Beautiful historic home in St Nicholas with Antiques too modern. Original family has owned this home since it was built. Original owner was Evelyn Harris, who was a pianist with the Jacksonville Symphony Back in the 1950's. There is a lot of old paper ephermia - 1920's Duval Highschool year book, programs from 'Musicale' 1920's-1950's, a bill for a hospital stay at St.Vincents from 1930 - a whole $19!!!! A 1930's scrapbook fullllll of dance cards, letters, pictures! Too many things to mention, such a fun sale to be a part of. This is a family of the arts and history. So much character in all items in this sale.
