South Bloomington Estate - PART 1

This is an On-line sale, part 1 - Items 1 to 94.  All items are identified, priced and available to purchase on-line only.  We understand that this might be a new experience for you.  We are utilizing the services of estatesales.net to run this on-line estate sale.  To aid you, we provide the following hints.

  • Primitives
  • Books
  • Furniture
  • Pottery
  • Much more

PLEASE READ BUYING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Each item is numbered.  Items might have more than 1 picture.  The picture with the item number is the one that you should click if you would like to purchase.
  • We are showing the items in advance of when the sale actually opens so that you have the opportunity to comfortably view the items, do your research and determine if our listed price is appropriate for you. The sale will not be OPEN until November 23 at 9 am.
  • Once the sale is listed as Open for buying on November 23 at 9 am, you can then click on the "Buy."  A new screen pops up and says "Contact to Buy."  Complete the requested info and hit "Send Message Now."   And, just like an in-person sale, we do not sell items early.
  • The system will send us a message of your desire to purchase the item.  IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME, you will need to become a registered user of estatesales.net.  If you wait to register until the buying time, it will slow down the process and require you to respond to a confirmation message. If you do not confirm your registration, your purchase request will not be sent to us.  NOTE:  If you have used the system previously, you won't be asked to do the confirmation step. IMPORTANT:  We recommend you do the registration in advance so that the buying process is smoother.
  • Multiple people might be trying to buy the same item when the sale opens.  Operating quickly will help you be the winner of the item.  In case of multiple buyers, we will honor the person whose message gets to us first.  The messages are timed and we are informed.
  • We have to manually mark the item as sold, so there will be some delays.  Some items saying that they are still available might not be if we haven't had the chance to mark it sold yet.  There can be up to a 10 minute delay from selling the item to getting it marked as sold.
  • Once we get your message and you are the first requester of the item, we will send an email confirming your purchase.  We will send you pick up information a bit later.
  • We are likely to reduce the price of items - put them on "sale" - during the last few days (probably right around Nov 29).  The reduced prices will be listed in the picture description.
  • We appreciate your patience in this new method of estate sale buying. Feel free to contact us if you would like further clarification.

This estate will be sold in various segments from mid November until early December.  We anticipate two or three on-line sales running concurrently plus having an in-person sale in early December.  That sale will be listed on estatesales.net
