This lovely home and it’s contents have been bequeathed to Tulane University. They leave no immediate heirs. The well known couple leave behind an interesting assortment of items.
We are just starting our marking but finding great pieces in this sale. Items of interest:
- Steinway Black Baby Grand Piano - M series
- Fine antique giltwood pier mirror, an exquisite gold gilt carved over mantle mirror
- Great Mid-Century bedroom furniture: great pair of chests in teak wood, end tables and console.
- FABULOUS suite of Art Deco tubular chrome furniture by K.E.M. Weber for Lloyd- sofa, pair of club chairs, side chair, smoking table and chrome and black tiered end table ( 1940’s). Original black leather cushions as well as original blue linen slip covers. Great condition and a rare find. (See photos)
- lovely English double pedestal dining table and 8 English dining chairs, sideboard, China cabinet and serving piece
- great looking American Empire sofa in red mohair, attractive marble top table, true Victorian side tables with original porcelain wheels
- several attractive oriental rugs - room size, runners and small throw size
- attractive Vintage bedroom furniture: twin beds, end tables and chest of drawers, armoires and other
- nice assortment of glassware 1930-1950’s
- some vintage costume jewelry, Sweet collection of vintage compacts, sterling pieces and silver plate items, Mardi Gras items, China, crystal and more

Numbers wil be given out at 7:00 a.m. for controlled entry at 9:00 a.m. opening. You may leave and come back after getting a number. You do not need to have a number to enter our sales but those holding numbers enter first at the opening.
Offers are taken on items over $100.00 on Saturday. If accepted you will be called Saturday evening and item will be marked Sold . All other items that we do not have offers on will be reduced at opening on Sunday
