Featuring the art of Stephen Cassin Muir. 

  Cassin pursued his painting at Yellow Barn at Glen Echo under the instruction of Walt Bartman and others.  His favorite medium is oil, and he is influenced by artists he loves, including Wolf Kahn, David Hockney, and Pablo Picasso.  While working for the US Department of Commerce, Cassin frequented the Old Ebbitt Grill for lunch often sketching ideas for his paintings on cocktail napkins whose images evolved into paintings on canvas.  He often painted scenes on the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and Washington, DC.  He had his own solo show at the Yellow Barn in Glen Echo, Maryland.
