PLEASE NOTE -- There are no signs for this sale posted on any streets due to the city's strict sign ordinances.....but there are signs posted at the house ( 203A Upton Street ), a contemporary home with a gray wood exterior. Please do not disturb the neighbors next door at 203.
We negotiate on prices from day one, so just talk to us..... also, the more you buy, the bigger the discounts!
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Everything is sold AS IS. Cash Only.
No large purses, no bags, no totes, no backpacks, no large coats. Please leave them in your vehicles.
We reserve the right to checks purses, bags, etc. before you exit the home.

............ a unique estate/downsizing sale of the very large and carefully curated collection of a young professional couple (one worked in neuroscience and environmental law and the other is an IT architect) that has been collecting many interesting "finds" for more than two decades
PLEASE NOTE.... we have only shown photos of a very small sampling of what will be available during this multi-weekend sale.
The very interesting and eclectic selection ranges from the antique and vintage to mid-century ..... and on to more recent finds. Whatever your taste or budget, you will find something here. Whether you are shopping to find special purchases for yourself or for holiday and special occasion gift giving (including Valentine's Day) you will hit the jackpot here. There are a number of hard to find maps, books, works of art and collectibles with Washington connections.... politics, inaugurations, maps, the courts, the monuments, etc. ...... In every room of the house there are wonderful and unique decor pieces and there are plenty of useful and functional items.
The sale includes all the very useful stuff in the garage (including an extra refrigerator, stove/oven & microwaves) and lots of useful and functional items in the home (kitchen things, small appliances, air purifiers, air mattresses, computer stuff and misc. electronics, etc.). There are many collectibles .... from paper ephemera to old World's Fair souvenirs. The available display space is not adequate to show everything at once, so you might want to visit several times as more of these collectors' finds are displayed. Much of their collection has been compactly stored both on and offsite.
The quantity of items in their many collections ..... together with the size and layout of their home ..... require multiple public sales periods. Some of their very large collections -- for example art, jewelry and clothes -- will not be on display in their entirety during the public sales. There will be a "selection" on view and for sale. But please feel free to make an appointment to look at more .... beyond the published hours of the public sale.
You can also shop by appointment during the rest of January on the days when there is no public sale. If you need to shop on a public sale day before or after the announced opening/closing times, please contact us.
